I'm so jealous...wish I could have been there. I think we've known for a long time (well before ITW) that Ed could pull off some amazing solo stuff...beyond his brief appearances prior. It sounds like he surpassed my wildest ideas and was completely original and inventive...when all the reviews start comparing him to Bruce and Ray Davies...well...can't say more than that.
Did some of you with high numbers get really close? If so congrats...even in these small venues theres nothingn better than seeing every grimace, smile, laugh.
From what I read briefly it sounds like LA peaked and he'll be up for a break. I'd hoped this solo tour would become bigger, but I think Ed demands so much of himself that an extended tour would really tire him and take him away from the family and PJ for too long (even if MM kept showin up via FedEx!
Hard to say where this goes, but again...congrats to everyone who got to partake!
Here's to a much needed DVD! I really need to see/hear ARC live and looped (take that as you may)...

First night I had fanclub seats about 7th row center. Second night (LA) i had about ten rows from the top and sitting against the wall. Still I could see better sometimes from the ticketmaster tickets. I don't think the Wiltern had a bad seat in it."There was a band playing in my head, and I felt like getting high"0

I'm imagining a few great clubs, theaters in your hometown that would lend INCREDIBLY to Ed's show! Maybe one day....
Madison also...the Barrymore?!! Ahh the thought0 -
I'd love to see PJ or Ed Solo at Radio City Music Hall in NYC and a long shot would be The Egg in Albany.0

A buddy lives in Albany...I think he saw Tom Waits at The Egg? Smaller, intimate joint?0 -
my number is 242-xxx and i was fourth row center for SB. i'm loving the random distribution.
for LA1 i think i was pretty much in the last fanclub row but it was still closer than i have been at any non-GA pearl jam show. plus we were in the row IN FRONT OF patrick warburton and cameron crowe... you would think they'd have a shot at better seats than us commoners, but nope. patrick said he had fanclub seats but i find it hard to believe he was sitting there refreshing all day with the rest of us fools.

i was thinking about this this morning on the drive back from san diego....i think ed might put out a touring band type album (digital and vinyl of course) each show i was at had mic's pointed toward the audience so i'm pretty sure all shows were recorded.....0 -

Yeah, it's pretty small... and the building literally is shaped like an egg...

I love the random distribution, because my 10c number sucks... long story, but anyway... between me and my ticketbuddy who are just a few 10c numbers apart, we got great seats.
SB - 8th row just right of center
LA1 - 4th Row one seat off center to the right...
LA2 - 4th row, one seat off center to the left...
It was amazing. We got VERY, VERY lucky... we would NEVER have gotten these seats with out 10c numbers. So THANKS, Ed and 10c for the new perspective!"Holly f**k, that was so amazing, I just forgot who I came here to see!!" - Courtesy of the guy in the U2 t-shirt standing next to me in Aloha Stadium, Post PJ0 -
Berkeley 1 - 10c seats, I had tenth row, center section, on the aisle. Fantastic view.
Berkeley 2 - no 10c seats for the show at all ... I bought my ticket on TM 2 days before the show, when they were dropping the occasional tickets ... 11th row, on the aisle! Pretty much the same seat.
Glad I eventually decided to go to Berkeley 2!"You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

I'm 212xxx so I was excited wind to up getting 4th row at Santa Barbara right next to where Ed climbed down the rope.- Busted down the pretext

Shit number - 400xxx - SB 7th row, dead center. LA1 7th row, center section on the aisle. LA2 was forced to stubhub it, was 4th row dead center in the mezz and missed the floor HUGE
Even did my best to smile at every passerby with a lanyard hoping for the offer to switch...oh well...all worth it - thanks to the 10c for the great seats and to EV for the memories. "I'm just walking the cow............................" 0 -

Something will get released because a couple of websites had excellent recordings (of the Berkeley show) and 10c requested they be removed.
That tells me they're planning to release a bootleg or two...Are you a screenwriter?
