Where's the Pit

I have an administrative question/ponderance/concern/comment.
I understand that only paid TEN members can post on this forum, formerly known as the pit.
Others can browse the forum, but not post, as I understand it.
The forum seems quite slim compared to the former pit with many members.
The pit was much more enjoyable with many members.
Thus, being a paid member and being able to post DOES NOT grant any extra benefits as it may have originally been perceived to do
MY VOTE would be to let non-paid members post too.
This WOULD be a benefit. I don't think anyone would pay membership fees JUST to post anyway.
Plus, I don't like the feeling of being in such an "elitist" group. As in, I paid, I can post, you did not pay, you can't post. It feels snobbish. It's not the Pearl Jam way.
Does anyone else feel that the Pit was way better when it was swarming, rather than slim-pickings?
Can the decision to "open the pit" be looked at again?

I agree that the pit should open. However, my guess (and it is only a guess) is that the new "policy" was put into place to curb the trolling and the bad blood posts that happened now and again.
I actually found the trolling and fighting to be very entertaining.
So let 'em in and let the games begin!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green0 -
yeah cause no one whos a paid up member ever posted in bad blood.hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say0 -
absolutely never or no one who is a paid up member 'ever' ..
of course not ..
yet, even the moving train seems tame now.

It could do with being a bit slimmer.0

a joinee, I confess
I joined just for the very occasional pleasure of posting
(and when it's economically feasible to upgrade my ancient
computer I'll post much more!)0 -
