but I'm looking forward to an economic downturn. It seems that the music is always better then. Think back to when the "Seattle Sound" broke. We were in a recession. Then things turned around and we ended up with "entertainers" (fuckin boy bands and Britney) who just prance around and can't sing and and don't even play. Music lovers, I think a lot of really good music is on the way again. Not just one album here and there mixed in with the crap.

pain and negativity usually does kick off a lot of great art. visual, musical, written, etc. when one is 'fat and happy'...they aren't too challenged, but when times are tough...there is a lot of emotion and inspiration. sure, the beauty of the world is inspirational as well...but there's something about turmoil and the human psyche that just amps up creativity. however, even with that.....i'd rather not have an economic downturn for selfish reasons.
however, life moves in cycles so it'll all come round again too.......
Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...

I'm not too sure about being happy about an economic downturn. Things are looking bad and it's not encouraging. But if we have good music, maybe it won't be too depressing. These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0
