So I bought this cool A's hat

The only problem is its made in China. I bought it from mlb.com too. Just wondering should I even bother wearing this hat I don't want to risk getting like an infection on my head from a hat.

    Are you looking for a A's Starter jacket? It's black and a winter coat but its bad ass. I bought it over 10 yrs ago. Brand new.

    good luck finding a whole lot that ISNT made in China

    but you might want to return it for the simple fact that it's an A's hat

    UNDERACH, AL - Globex, the nation's largest manufacturer of maps, globes and geography textbooks has begun recalling and destroying all of their products due to China's presence on them. In an unscheduled telephone press conference on Monday, Globex chairman Pat Rehott explained the largest recall in American history:

    "We understand that a lot of our fellow citizens have been living in fear of products originated from China. We here at Globex realize that simply avoiding these products is like sticking a band-aid on a broken bone...it doesn't stop disfigured baby Americans from popping out all over the place. We have to attack the root cause of this virus. If my child is in her class, and she's showing her classmates where the good ol' USA is on a Globex globe, it doesn't matter that the Globex globe was manufactured here in the safety of our beautiful borders...because the fact is, my daughter's hand is on the back of the Globex globe, right over China! So the whole scene is so docile like a Disney movie, but my daughter is absorbing these awful toxins through her hand because China is on the Globex globe. It's osteoporosis. Science can't be avoided. So Globex is proud to announce that we're no longer just in the business of shaping young minds. Now we're also in the business of safeguarding our future from the enemy abroad. Victory by omission!"

    Globex P.R. representatives did not return calls following the telephone conference with Mr. Rehott, however, an e-mail was distributed acknowledging the call and noting that Globex would be forfeiting millions of dollars in revenue to do, what they believe, is their patriotic duty.

    you purchased an A's hat?
    looks like the infection got to your head well before the hat arrived from China.

    hell yeah!! A's are my team:D I like going to Dodgers games too... they're my national league team, but if they played in the WS I would be rooting for the A's. Fuck the Angels:)

    Did I miss something? Is there some sort of recall on Chinese products?

    I don't hate the A's, but they have to be one of the most boring teams out there. Granted, they have a decent record, but Billy "Money Ball" Beane just doesn't know how to put together a team that can bring fans into the park. I went to a game a few weeks ago at the Coliseum (Phils vs. A's) and there were just as many Phillies fans as A's fans. I'd hate to see what the ratio is when the Yankees come to town! And as for that hat you bought, go ahead and wear it with pride! I wear my Phillies hat (also made in China) with extreme pride!

    I had no idea that such an idea as a "cool A's hat" exisisted. Well...good luck with that idea. I don't expect much to come of it though.

    The crowds could be better but a lot of that has to do with the awful ballpark. The only thing they do right is the beer selection.

    The A's weren't supposed to contend this year especially with all the injuries. We will see if they can regroup when Thomas comes back and make a mini run.

    And fuck all the haters I have the coolest hat known to man and its an A's hat! :)

    yeah.. well we've pretty much given up this season. I think comparing Billy Beane to the lady owner in "Major League" is a pretty accurate representation.;) He trades all our best players for good young talent. I think he's trying to lose so he can get into that new stadium faster. Then hopefully these young guys will be kicking ass... and he won't trade them. We've given away WAY too many good players.

    One has a Mariners logo and the other has a Yankee Logo :)
