    Badass! That's about as far as I'd probably get at Everest - base camp. I went camping two weekends ago in the Hill Country area of central Texas and I was beat down trying to climb a few hundred feet up some little old hills.

    Actually, just a few hours to the southwest of you InHiding, at Garner State Park.

    Need time and money to climb higher. We didn't have either. I would recommend that trip to basecamp to everyone. It was amazing and relatively affordable, and manageable.
