MLB All Star Game's rules regarding extra inning

pardon me for being ignorant about the rules.

correct me if im wrong but the rulebook says that once a player is substituted, he can't be in the game anymore.

what about in the all star game? if all the players have been used & there's no one left in the bench? what will happen?

    Well, in the 12 now and unless something happens it looks like 13.


    This happened years ago and the stopped at a tie. Which to me = not baseball. Oh well.

    and regarding this game...this is baseball at its best...especially, ESPECIALLY the bottom of the tenth with the bases loaded.....

    hopefully this will correct the horrible horrible horrible rule that the winning league at the ALL STAR GAME gets home advantage in the WORLD SERIES
