I think they made a mistake. They said that the guy who played Dave also played the fat kid "Davy Hogan" AKA Lard ass, in Stand by Me. No way that is the same person.

If there was one thing superior about the eighties, it was that the movies were the best.

Summer School is a classic 80's film.

It's weird huh? Every thing else in the 80's pretty much sucked. Most of the music, clothes, hairstyles, etc.

But Movies, no helmet law, tv shows, cartoons, etc . . . best time to be a kid.

Sweet Jesus, I loved this movie!

I don't know if this is pathetic or awe inspiring, but I'm a teacher and I find myself quoting this movie to my students.

    Such as:

"I've been handing out assignments, and the kids turn them in and everything. It's almost like school in there."
"In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." -- Albert Camus

"He who knows only his own side of the case, knows little of that." -- John Stuart Mill

"Mongo just a pawn in game of life." -- Mongo
