Worst trend of the 90's

I've got my 90's kick going today. The 90's didn't have nearly as many bad trends as the 80's, but I have to say, it had the worst. The motherfuckin' Macarena. It was like brain consuming virus had plagued America and it caused the average schlepp to think they could dance when they clearly could not. I remember being at a football game and the PA system playing it numerous times. Most of the crowd danced along to it, and I was so terrified I wanted to crawl in a hole. I remember just pushing my hat down low and getting in the fetal position in my chair. How fucking awful. :shudders:

you prefer macarena to limp bizkit ???
I agree limp bizkit is not a good band to represent the 90's and I don't love what they did (do ?). but come on, the macarena is so stupid...

    I always hated the pogs.

But then again, I can definitely understand hating the Macarena.

Say what you want, but watching Dr. Evil do the Macarena was well worth the price.

I don't know if this is one of the 90s but the undercut hair cut? I got one once probably as a 7 or 8 yr old and it was shocking. Never got one again.

I once saw a girl from Colombia do the Macerana...it was the most awesome thing I have ever seen. That said, I don't even think I could hear the song...didn't need music...i was in a trance watching her swirl around.

    Worst trend...agreed nu/rap metal.
I love to turn you on

By far the worst thing to come out of the 90's was the teeny pop/boy band mess in the late 90's. That's when good music died and pre-fab pop came en vouge.

Oh no, I just presumed everyone's heard of the birdy song? It comes with its own dance

Okay, I know the birdy song as the "chicken dance" and yes, it's dreadful. They play it at weddings here and it's been around for a long time I'd imagine.

I forgot about the ketchup song. Yes, very bad. My little nieces that live in Peru sang and danced this whole song years ago, when it came out. Apparently it was very big down there. Not so much here. Thank God.

Never heard that term, I think we just call them running suits. My father in law still wears one from time to time and I call it his Russian gangster suit. It seems like in movies these guys are always wearing these.

LOL - I'd thought it was Spanish! Too funny. Dont' they mention something about habibi? That's Arabic. Maybe it's Arabic.
