Ok, I'm a wee bit worried!

My boyfriend's on a hedonistic stag (bachelor) week in Magaluf in Spain :eek: I don't think I need to say any more, lol, but he called me last night pretty annoyed cos his friends were trying to get him to cheat on me :mad: and he ended up leaving them all in the pub to go back to the hotel early... at about midnight. What the fuck? So at least I know he was in bed last night but he's still got to spend another two nights with these guys and they are his friends so it's not as if he's just gonna sit in. It's not like I don't trust him... but it sounds like there's a lot of unnecessary pressure being put on him and I'm pretty fucking annoyed right now.

I know he's not and you're right. The reason I wasn't overly worried about him going was that I've met most of the friends he's going with and they all seem really nice and decent... but it seems to be the ones I HAVEN'T met who are causing all the trouble and apparently there was a LOT of 'trouble' last night :( and he was really disappointed. He seemed quite upset about the whole thing (he was pretty hammered though).

TBH I've absolutely no doubt in HIM... just that it must be pretty fucking difficult being in a place like that with friends like that! And I don't think he's having a good time at all. He said one of his friends got annoyed cos he met two girls from Ireland and he just spent the whole time telling them about me

If there's anything to 'worry' about (and there isn't), it's just that he'll have a shit time because every time he feels that kind of pressure, he'll just leave.

Every time i've met you're bloke i've made comment about how dedicated he is to you and how there really could be no one else in his eyes. I don't think in a million years he'd cheat on you OR try and 'test' you. I agree that him telling you what was going on is a good sign.
If I were you, I'd make it clear that i'd lost some respect for his friends and their plot to get him to cheat. I wouldn't act psycho girlfriend but I would certainly make it clear that what they did was unnecessary and irresponsible. What they chose to do with their own dicks is up to them, but pressuring him into doing something against his character and something he doesn't want to do, is simply childish.
You have a great bloke there, Hels, and the fact that he sat talking to some Irish girls about you is great... he's absolutely smitten, I know that

I know and I don't want him to do that either... even though he woke me up last night I was trying to think what to say that wouldn't have him worrying TOO much about me, cos I still want him to have a good time... just not THAT good of a time . He was pretty angry and disgusted with them and I think he's gonna have to say something to one or two of them today. He did hint that ONE of the lads I know pretty well, who's seriously dedicated to his girlfriend, cheated :( and I think that's what upset him the most.

Why do guys put eachother under such pressure? :(

Thanks Sian . You lot are really helping... cos the only person I can really talk to about this is my sister... and she's still asleep apparently :eek: so I've been stressing a bit this morning. How am I gonna sleep for the next two nights? Lol. Also, the 'friends' who are pressurising him are the ones I haven't met... but I don't think the others are defending him.

He did tell me though that seeing everything going on there and the way some of the girls are behaving (apparently it's pretty much a meat market) has made him appreciate me even more so that's something I guess.

It is something... he has respect for you and loves you so much. Tbh in my experience, 'meat market' girls tend to be a bit of a joke in most men's eyes as well as womens. Your man has good taste, after all, he's with you
Having met some of your man's friends also, I didn't like the idea of them encouraging him to cheat, they seemed like a good bunch so i'm glad to hear that they're not the guilty party.
Try not to stress too much, you trust him for a reason and keep reminding yourself that. I know that you'll feel insecure for the next few nights but if you need to, you know you can always give me a call for a chat, morning or night

He has eyes for no one but you Helen. I could see that after 5 minutes with the guy. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. The fact that he's unhappy with the situation and told you all about it speaks volumes.

He's a good guy and you two are great together.

I really do trust him 100% or there'd be no point being in this kinda relationship. Hopefully they're all feeling pretty shitty about themselves today.

So yep, you may be getting a late night call if I don't hear from him before I'm going to sleep. His phone went dead during our chat last night so I really hope he brought his charger with him :eek:

Either way you might have been annoyed. At least he speaks the truth.
