there's a lot you can find when you stay up late at nights

there's a man who constantly screams out of rage... not sure why but i can hear him loud enough. his words are muffled so i can't hear him clearly. not sure if he lives in the same apartment complex i live or the one's next by. i wonder if he lives alone or with someone. i'm always tempted to sneak out and hear where it's coming from and try to find if i can gather what he's saying. but i think that would make me a stalker. or isn't that voyeurism?

anyways... i find it interesting and a bit eerie. i heard him the very first day i moved in. and i was able to gather what he said... he said something like, "i want you out of my life." it would make it particularly creepy if he actually lived alone... just like i live alone.

what if it's me who's actually screaming but i'm imagining that it's someone nearby? now that's some trippy shit.... i've been watching too much x-files.

  • That's creepy. The way you explained it anyway. Maybe he's just arguing with his partner... if it's about the same time each night.

but wouldn't it actaully be pretty tripped out if he were screaming to some figure with it's back facing the window and all i could see is a wig on some body on a rocking chair? kinda like psycho? now that would be an awesome experience.

It would have to be followed by a session of intense weeping. If so, I think they're neighbors...

  • so now i opened this thread about 5 months ago... since then i moved out of my apartment about late february and moved back in with my parents :o for a short while really.

about 2 weeks before i moved out, my cousin and i had gone to my apartment to get some things. (my cousin was going to take over my lease, so we were planning to get all my shit out.) when we drove by there were cops surrounding this screaming man's apartment. i didn't think anything of it but that same week i found out that he had passed away. not sure how but it had been awhile since i heard him screaming. and so he'd been dead for about 3 days or so.

so eventually i moved out and in with my parents and on with my life. right? wrong.

when my parents were being threatened of eviction as soon as they discovered i was staying with them i immediately went back to the same apartment complex where i lived.

i asked, "do you have any apartments available?" they said, "yes, we do actually!"

and what do you know? it was the same apartment of the fat screaming dead guy, (god rest his soul). and to top it off... all his furniture was left in the apartment. so now i got the dude's furniture. but none of that screaming jibberish haunting me late at nights ;)
