Maybe I'm wrong, but...

Let me first start by saying I like Obama. I enjoyed watching the primaries, and through it I hoped he would win.

Now there are some people on here that disagree with his stance on things, and that's fine.
But these people also ridicule people for supporting him, or insult them for being sheep when they say they support him but don't agree with all of the things he has said.
But the thing we must remeber is that he us running for President of the entire country, not just this message board.
This is perhaps one of the most diverse countries in the world, and as such there are many different viewpoints. So not everyone will be happy.
"You can't please all the people all the time" I think it goes.
And it seems most of those people post here ;)
I don't consider myself a sheep, and have never insulted anyone for their viewpoint, hoping for the same courtesy.
unfortunately this has not been the case.
This is a crazy world we live in. I don't think there is much evil or good on either side, only viewpoints. This is the reason there is so much conflict in the world.
And maybe we can just do the best we can.

  • Maybe I'm wrong, but...

no buts about it, you're wrong.
  • I don't think I have ridiculed anyone for supporting him. I'm sure there are some that get a little insulting about it, though but at the same time there have been plenty of posts ridiculing those supporting 3rd party 'fringe' candidates....so either way some people are just more rude than others when expressing their disagreement.

Now you can start a thread about those posters that ridicule Nader, Paul, Kucinch and Gravel supporters because that's all over this board, too.
