    There must have been some unseen conspiracy to get this guy nominated. There's no way that many people really like him. I cannot even fathom him having been able to stay in the primary race, much less actually get the nomination.

    it just seemed so fake and staged with all the sign waving at the right time (we love cindy!)! i'm voting for obama and i live in arizona. DEADHEADS FOR OBAMA! one thing i noticed between both the DNC & RNC was that at the RNC there was nothing but well dressed "suits" (rich folk) and at the DNC there was a bunch of ordinary real people wearing t shirts.

    The only chance McCain has of winning this election is separating himself from the most disdained president of our time. That's just a fact. The Republicans are going to vote for McCain regardless. But what about that HUGE Independent vote, and all those really pissed off Hillary supporters? Yeah, I think McCain nailed the entire convention. Palin to McCain. They definitely earned some votes they didn't have before the convention.

    That isn't true. I saw a lot of decorated veterans in the audience of the RNC. I saw a lot of ordinary people as well. You're just seeing what you want to see.
