  • Anyone with a highschool education could school O'reilly on just about anything.

As a matter of fact, it's happened already...the kid was 18 yrs old..

I really don't understand how this guy is on TV...oh wait, I do, but not under normal circumstances...

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions

I can't stand O'Rielly but I'd like to see him drill Obama and then see how he handles it. I'm sure he'll ask the tough questions and that's something worth watching.

Will he ask tough questions or ask questions and then just talk over the person while he tries to answer?

That being said, although I think O'Reilly is kind of an idiot, he's better than the Hannitys and Limbaughs of the world. At least I feel that O'Reilly knows he is a caricature and plays up that angle of his personality. The other two are really just nuts.

    Wow!

I never thought I'd see the day. I'm sorry, but O'Reilly is TERRIBLE at interviews and debates. Talking over someone, cutting their mic, video editing responses, going to commercial...you name it.

I think Obama will have to be a little tough and hostile to ol' Bill because if he thinks about an answer or hesitates, Bill will just talk over/louder than him (of course saying nothing).

Crazy. I will def. be watching this!
  • it's obvious none of you people understand the concept of his show.(the no spin zone)HE only has a few minutes with his guest so when they start getting of topic he let's them know.also he may have more questions to ask so he has to cut them off.O'reilly was fair to hillary when she sat down with him and his reporting on Obama has ben more fair then any one that's not ii the tank for Obama. but you would only know this if you watched his show.
  • Atleast O'reilly will ask real questions, instead of the fucking Today Show....

    Beatles or Rolling Stones?

    I mean, fuck that show.

to be honest, this post is somewhat accurate ... when high profile guests are on, he shows respect.

It's what he says about them when they are not on ... how he treats lower profile guests, and his two faced nature (see Daily Show thread) that irks people.

I believe this is exactly right on. He'll probably show respect tonight in that many viewers will be tuning in.

What a waste of time that was....

Props to Barack for even setting foot on the same stage as that POS O'Reilly. The entire conversation isn't even over with him and he was interviewing "Monica" so-n-so who clearly is blowing Bill over and over and they are both bad-mouthing him...oh and he has no say in that ("No Spin Style") despite that his tape will be played over the next two nights.

Wow, you should have stayed home Barack because you will always lose on Crock (of shit) news.

    "No spin zone"...LOL Unreal!

Wait to comment?!!?!?! That was the biggest pile of shit I've seen in a long time! Why not take ever sentence and rip it apart and stretch it out even more with conservative nutbag opinions all the way.

Unreal! Barack should have told Bill "Hey, stop interrupting me you fuckin ignorant prick, this is how it is...here is my website to refute the bullshit you'll talk about me later..http://www.billisalyingsackofshit.com (I don't know if that is a site or not...i hope it's not a porn site or anything).

You're kidding, right? I mean... just because he's willing to follow-up with Obama and not let him run free like MSNBC, CNN, CBS, etc?

But I do agree with you on the Cubs.. although that's scarier looking right now than the political stuff.:)

O'Reilly will also drop the old "and you know that" at the end of a sentence.

O'Reilly:The world is flat Senator, and come on, you know that....Moving on....

Obama: Well, uh Bill in 1492 they proved

O'Reilly: oh c'mon Senator...don't give me that crap. I know it, you know, everyone knows it. Let's talk about dinosaurs....we all know they were invented by Charles Darwin, and that the planet is just 6000 years old.....there were never any dinosaurs. You're on board with that, right Senator?

Obama: What no, how could you poss.......

O'Reilly: What's uo with that Rev. Wright? C'mon....you know he's a kook. Thanks for joining us Senator Obama....you're a standup guy. It takes guts to come on the show. Coming up next, Patriots and Pinheads.........

Stepping outside of the O'Reilly/Obama stuff, this is the most dead-on impression of all time. It's like a transcript direct from the show. Just add in a "pithy comment" to finish off the segment and I'm sold.

So what you are saying is that he can collaborate his bullshit (friends and buddies) to take "cuts" in the conversation to slam Obama AFTER THE FACT!!! Obama is long gone and Bill takes apart his responses, not in person...because talking over someone only goes so far...but after the fact!
Not only is it a pussy move to criticize someone who is NO LONGER in the studio, but it's another to take apart a 40 minute convo and make it into a 3 day "word-by-word" conservative hate fest.

    Dumb!

Hell, the McCain camp canceled McCain's appearance on CNN because Campbell Brown wouldn't let his spokesman spin his way out of answering a question.

  • You O'Reilly supporters crack me up.
It's not about being fair - it never was. Obama can't win - simply because O'Reilly (who has an ego the size of the moon) doesn't get the answer he wants - he will simply spin it into a negative for Barack.

Anyone who thinks O'Reilly isn't a GOP doll need not look any further than the opening questions (and the body language) that this idiot asked Mccain and then the same with Obama.

OR first question of Mccain" "What is your opponents (I.e. Obama) biggest weaknesses"??
To Barack: "Do you really believe we are fighting a war on terror"

    Fair and Balanced.
Watch both interviews and tell me OReilly isn't in the tank for Mccain
