I read this quote this morning and wanted to share it with you all:

    I read Anthony De Mello's 'Awareness' book and it actually changed my life,even if you aren't a religious person I'd recommend reading it...we could all do with waking up.

    it could have said "LIVING means reawakening... it doesn't necessarily mean you have to believe in a religion, a God, or anything like that... it's just a positive thought that I believe is needed in this crazy world, if we're gonna save it somehow....

    I think that waking up, finding my own version of spirituality, includes opening my eyes to corruption and injustice...which includes the war on drugs. Some cultures tie spirituality to mind-alteration. So maybe that's a legit thing to worry about, and even related to an "awakening"? hmmmm...

    Enough of the snide, intolerant commentary.....

    my comment is fine and well because it goes to the reason i think a reawakening will never happen in the US or the world...people are worrying about things that are not important.
