    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

He is also a citizen of the United States and it entitled to say whatever he feels.

Just as Bill O Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity do.

And really, what is the difference between Rush, Bill, Sean and Penn? They are all entertainers.

Does it matter what Sean Penn says? No. But it does not matter what the rest of them say either.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.
  • What's the difference between Sean Penn giving his opinions as opposed to other actors. Hell, some of those actors have even moved on to governor....and president...and to a near jesus like figure to a certain party. So, what's the difference?
  • All the Kings Men was pretty bad I admit...

Oh lord, that movie was a pile of poo!

I just watched 'I am Sam' about an hour ago. Great film. As was 'The falcon and the snowman' and 'The Assassination of Richard Nixon'.

The Thin Blue Line. Is that the title? A masterpiece.

It was kind of boring, but on second viewing, I think it (the movie) did a pretty good job. It's in the subtleties. Penn played his role to the hilt.

I love the few films he's directed - i.e, The Indian Runner, and The Crossing guard, and The Pledge. He's just finished directing 'Into the wild'. Should be good. I've just begun reading the book.
