Trust me they'll find some way to shine him up like sterling silver and put his name on some building here in DC.

When his term ends? Not so good.

His legacy, as it were, is completely tied up in Iraq. That's a ball that will still be in play for decades down the line.

Check your history books in 40 years for a better answer.

He'll somehow find a way to claim victory in Iraq or just start a quickie with Iran. All this from a man who barely served a day in the military,a man who has war on his mind 24-7.

I heard on CNN that a sewage treatment plant in CA is trying to get his name on it.

Not the CNN link but it should do.

Credit wouldn't/shouldn't go to bush though. Iraq may have better off w/o killing a million innocents in 40 years. Shit it was better off 6 years ago.

According to the last time the Wall Street Journal ranked presidents (2005), they had W at number 19.

For the failure to uphold his Oath to the Office of the President of the United States for which he swore to the American people we would execute. Instead, he lied before God and the American people and proceeded to dismantled the U.S. Constitution in what it represents for America and to the world at large for personal gain and gratification that has resulted in the unnecessary deaths of Americans.

    Oath of Office for President

US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

    So help me God.

And as the years past, truth has a way of finding itself into the light of day. I suspect that there will be revelations about this Administration and how it operated.

I'll put as much faith in that lib mag as you do Fox News.

Keep blaming Bush for everything, ever heard the phrase "move on"? How about contacting your Democratic people in Washington and ask them why they vote to pass every Iraq spending plan that comes their way? Ask Obama why he voted for spying on Americans.

Bush is yesterday's news, focus on tomorrow.

So, we should pretend that nothing in the past happened... or matters? You do understand that we are stuck in Iraq, right? What happens if all funding is cut to zero? We are being FORCE to fund this thing because there is no easy way out. Things that should have had played a factor in the decision to go in the first place.
And no... I'm not blaming Bush for everything. Just placing responsibility on his shoulders because it was his decisions that have gotten us where we are today.
Apparently, you do not feel the same way as I do about accepting personal responsibility for one's decisions and actions. We should do whatever we want and not accept any of the blame and force others to simply 'deal with it'.
    That's good.
