PRICELESS PERFORMANCE!!! She was spot on. In fact, it took me a few seconds to realize it was Tina and not Palin. She was hilarious!!

I loved the news bit talking about Matt Cassell taking over for Tom Brady. "His inexperience as a backup has earned him the nickname Sarah Palin" .....classic!
i agree completely.
Really?
First time I even saw Sarah Palin, I thought, "Why did John McCain choose Tina Fey as his running mate?"
for the least they could possibly do
Yes she is.
SNL has gone the way of the dinosaur and MTV though.
Maybe so but that was one of their biggest ratings opener ever.

True, but he won't need it. He's got endorsements up the wazoo. I heard in an interview that he and a partner have gone into business (government may be involved) to provide swim centers to underprivileged areas of the country where kids have never even seen a pool much less have the opportunity to swim.

Seriously? We're still playing that game?
she's just pissed cuz she wanted to be the vp candidate being made fun of
That's cool. He seems like a cool dude. I just thought his acting was so bad that it was funny.
lol, yeah...that must be it.
Yeah, you're right. It was pathetic.

Um... surely that's political bias, more than gender? Dumb broad.
i was going to quote the same line. absurd. they were faulting obama for months about playing the race card, now they pull out the sexist card every chance they get. i guess pc is only a bad thing when the other side is doing it.
One thing that struck me in the Couric interview, is that Fey used some exact quotes as answers, still got laughs.

I said this last week, kind of ... I think what I said was, when she gets flustered, her accent gets much more pronounced ...
she'd be pretty easy to play poker with ... unless she brought her shotgun.

I think that's common with accents though. My wife is from Massachusetts, and normally doesn't have any accent at all, but when she gets angry, flustered or really any excited emotion, the new england/boston accent comes out a bit.

I'm originally from Boston ... my accent really only comes out when I'm drunk ...
