Mother's Day

I offer you a one sentence poem to celebrate mothers.

Love is nature's threads
embroidered into a child's
life by a mother.

I like the gentle control of the metaphor, and the subtle use of haiku, though one always has to be careful, beginning a poem with "Love is..." You never know, some old newspaper cartoonist might sue for intellectual property rights.
