I've said it before
repetition is so helpful for so many things
that's what musicians do
we practice for hours at a time
playing bits over and over
differently if we're doin' it right!
but repetition molds our heads
truly, I'm not just sayin' it
it forms paths and cuts channels
for the electric messengers to run down
and looking over patterns repeatedly
you learn about 'em
and understand 'em
and maybe can fix them
better
than someone who tries once
and finds the challenge too big
repetition
modification
understanding
they all go together
truly, you've gotta love the activity
to go through the hard parts
that many times
love, love, love
it's connected to repetition too
