Here's a poem that I just wrote that maybe you might care to read

I wrote it in about 15 minutes and I really don't know what it's about really. But I find that after I write something I always really like it and it sounds really good to me, but sometimes I find if I read it over the next day it's really bad. So I'll write it down here while I still like it.

From far into the distant breeze
Came the laughing, clapping soldier’s song
Whose voices echo in a distant fear
That all that’s lost will be forever gone
You can’t look back into the sun
Swim naked in a sea of blood
You’d better swim faster now
Or you’ll be drowned in the flood

Of all the kings who’ve greatly died
A tragic and horrific death
You’re the only one who survived
But not the only one who’s left
You said yourself you see the world
Broken down and confused
With all the people serving one
And being brutally abused

Stories of the young and old
Whether real or being faked
Are lost inside the politics
And the history that we make
You re-appear to find yourself
Lost with nobody around
They’ll come knocking on your door
Make sure to not make a sound

You claim to be holier
Than the now succeeding king
When it comes down to the truth
You’ll find that you don’t know a thing
Except the reason why you came
To a land with no signs of life
With countless others just like you
Who’ll take your place once you die

Each and every single day
A thousand new babies born
Who won’t know of any mistakes
Except that of the war
You’ll bring them up and slave them
To teach them how to die
When dying is nothing more
Than just a part of life

I’ll hold these chains of events
In the palm of my hand
With my trusting faithful sword
I will make a stand
Come with me if you dare
We’ll have to leave right now
To a place where I don’t know
But we’ll make it there somehow
"I'm a thief, and I dig it"

I like this. Good read. :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

IM very, very, very HO, its quite good..I mean..I had a good time reading it...go on!
  • Is that how you spell "holier"?

i mean it in the sense like the holy spriit, you know?

or is it holyer? neither of them look right to me
