yea it was they had quite a few bars set up it only took 10 minutes to get 6 beers right b4 the show started
then after the 1st set i was able to get more b4 they came back out

and if u really wanted more all u had to do was go out during a song

    Oh ok, that's pretty sweet.

I try not to miss songs - unless Evenflow comes on. Then I have to evenflow in the bathroom & get another beer to evenflow some more later.

Open bar was a nice touch, but I swear, people weren't tipping the bartenders! Come on people, you shell out minimum $250 a ticket and can't pass a couple of bucks to the bartender!?!

This two guys ordered two mixed drinks each, were rude as hell, and didn't even leave one dollar!

You could tell the bartenders were perturbed.

Drinks were very easy to get but the bar was only open 45 minutes before the show started.

it was a nice touch... when was the last time you got a free anything at a show? NEVER! the beer selection was nice... got to try them all over the course of the nite, by accident of course. later in the evening the beer-tenders were just opening bottles and pouring, you had no choice in what they poured.

Open bar? Dangerous. It's been a rough morning (and now afternoon) on Long Island... Awesome show and a great night though. The afterparty was definitely good times and happiness.

Having attended more than a few open bars in my time, I can tell you that tipping is not only necessary, it's actually the key to navigating a crowded open bar. If you throw down a five or even a ten and make eye contact when you order your first drink, that bartender is going to remember your face for the rest of the night and hook you up before the rest of the cheap bastards. Of course, this is only worth it if you plan on ordering multiple drinks, which I certainly wouldn't be doing at Pearl Jam.

    blech ......

entirely too long lines up in the lower balcony.

then , after fighting off the line, i get up there to see very limited selections of liquor.
    No Jack Daniels ?
    No Heinekens ?

so i had to settle for Johnny Walker Black-

    :p

They ran out of water before the show started. I think they restocked, but they ran out again.
