Need some help from people familiar with this venue. Thinking about seeing a show there and just looking for any heads up about stuff like seats, parking etc… tips and tricks from locals. I’m mostly concerned with parking and ease of getting out of dodge.

    It’s a great venue
all the seats are great. Only like 5500 people
use to be a minor league baseball field
place is right under 95 so easy in and out. I would buy the premier parking.

Food is good in the place. Normal stands and a bunch of food trucks. Plus there is a brewery in the place

    seen Billy strings there twice
    Marquee 91

    CBGB 91

    Zuppardi is two exits closer.

sally and pepes are across the street from each other in New Haven proper. Same for Louis

Regardless. It’s all north of the venue so leave time cause CT traffic is the worst

Saw this place from the train on my way to Philly 2 weeks ago - looks like an awesome venue.

Got it. Thanks for all the excellent info. I just read that Pepe’s has a spot in the venue. I think I may pull the trigger and see KOL there October 5. I haven’t been able to find the premier parking tickets. But I’ll keep looking.

No problem. Live Nation kinda buries them. I learned where to find them when I was hunting for the Outlaw Music Festival. They wanted $140 for that one!

Don’t know about the venue at all but

    Sallys > Modern > Pepe’s lol

Also, I would recommend Colony Grill and get a pizza with stingers and hot oil

Also… just saw KOL last night in DC and it was incredible.  What a live band they are

we saw them at forest hills this week and it’s the best I’ve ever seen them play. We’ve seen them 3 other times and they were always technically great but not a ton of energy. This time felt very different which is making us want to go to this venue on 10/5.

Plus we got The Face which is my wife’s favorite song. Literally made her cry.

yeah, in terms of a rock concert, the band was nothing short of a 10/10 last night.  I wish I could do it again.

Yea I hear that. I wish they switched the set up. I think they can easily pull it off. That rotating spot seems to get a good response from the crowd no matter how deep of a track it is. Either way, I’d gladly see this show again. Seen blew me away.

I think you’re wrong but the fact that it is the first place ever to make a hamburger sandwich makes it worth a shot if you have never been.

Is it the greatest budget of all time? Hell no.  That award imo goes to au chevel in Chicago

Zuppardi's is absolutely the hidden getm down there. I'm a Sally's guy overall but you can't go wrong with Pepe/Sallys/Modern/Zuppardi

Just North of New Haven in Derby is Roseland Pizza. They are TOP tier as well. HIGHLY recommend anyone around the area to try them out too.

I’m leaving NyC at 4:15 on a Saturday. I’ve checked the last few Saturdays and it’s usually about 2:15 to get to the venue. Which of these pizzerias is closest to the venue?

There's a Sally's and Pepe in Fairfield about 3 miles away. The OGs in New Haven are a half hour up 95.

use to be a minor league baseball field
place is right under 95 so easy in and out. I would buy the premier parking.

Food is good in the place. Normal stands and a bunch of food trucks. Plus there is a brewery in the place

    seen Billy strings there twice
Awesome! Great info! Planned on maybe trying Sally’s apizza before the show.
    F Sallys🤪. I’m a Pepe guy.
Also don’t sleep on Zuppardis in west haven. Or going to Louis’ lunch for burger

Awesome info. I’ll decide based on traffic when I’m close. Thanks you

Need some help from people familiar with this venue. Thinking about seeing a show there and just looking for any heads up about stuff like seats, parking etc… tips and tricks from locals. I’m mostly concerned with parking and ease of getting out of dodge.
If you are going to see Creed I'm not sure this forum that will be able to guide you...Kidding, but Creed is playing there in a few days... If you want a nice dinner - go to Ralph & Riches - great Italian food only a block away.  If you want some good local pizza and only want to park once and be within walking distance of the venue - go to Brewport - great pizza and excellent selection of beer on tap - spacious bar.  If you go to get Pizza in West Haven or New Haven - factor that into your plans, because you will need extra time to travel and wait in line.  If time and effort is not an issue...Pepe's, Modern and Sally's are all top notch.  If you are coming from NYC - take the train to Downtown Bridgeport and hit the spots mentioned above that are local to Bridgeport....Enjoy!
