Is there a smart local here who can explain how to get to/from San Clemente via the trolley? Ubers were a poopshow on Friday night.

Website says blue line trolley hours are extended.
    They are.

Blue Lines norhest stop connects to Dana Points southest stop. And I think Dana Points runs till 11:30pm tonight

    (not a local though)

On friday the trolley only ran until 10 pm. That day I ran home to my Airbnb in San Clemente. Won’t mention the street light situation because it gets personal for some.

On saturday and sunday because of the festival they had the trolleys running longer. Those days I took the trolleys and walked 2 km (20min) from the San Clemente Outlet mall. Very smooth with the trolleys. The San Clemente trolley stopped at the Outlet mall and the trainststion.

I went to the trolley stop and figured it would he an hour before I was able to get on. Did they add more trolleys or just extend the hours?

Walked over to the Rib Joint and got an Uber back to The Volare in SC for $30.

Pro move. Cool local bar with decent food, strong drinks, and live music. Easy to get an Uber after an hour or so.

good call...wasn't the rib joint packed though?

We stayed at the Volare. Not a bad place. When we were there in 2021 we were in a weird honeymoon suite that had the shower in the middle of the fucking room. I'm talking tub and shower curtain out in the open. Really odd.

Secret of The Volare (don't tell anyone): I was there with a friend (without benefits) and they have rooms with beds in separate rooms. Like a two bedroom suite (with one bathroom).

Extend the hours the did. Don’t know about if they added more vehicles. But they cane by every 10-15 min in daytime atleast

I lived with a korean dad and his son. Had my own bathroom. A few ants I saw but other than that it was very nice. The dad wanted me to mail him to help him with some graphic work. hah.

The Volare had free cookies, but no Korean Dads and ants to add to the atmosphere.

Fun trip with more than I had hoped for experienced. Ohana fest the second best thing after the 40-anniversary screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

But happy to now change palmtrees for:

Haven’t read this thread since July but wanted to share that someone I know saw Neil Young at an event in Memphis last week.  (Not performing - at a dinner or something.  Seemed perfectly healthy by all accounts.)  I’m still bitter about Neil bailing on this festival and the lame replacement for him.

He played a few shows in September too. Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts at Capitol Theatre.  Salt in the wound.  I probably would have passed on the Saturday ticket if it was originally Sting- was not into his set at all.

It was pretty obvious that one of the members of Crazy Horse has the illness.

No disrespect to whoever that is but Neil could have played a set at Ohana.

I'm pretty sure that the entire state of California sits atop an enormous ant nest.

I imagine he couldn't (even if he wanted) due to insurance-reasons/rules etc after his cancelling.

At the time, if he wasn't sick at all - he should have for the shows replaced the sick Crazy Horse with another available Horse. If not someone in his own orbit, than Stone/Jeff/Matt or Mike I bet would have filled in NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I believe this to be correct. No Crazy Horse no show. Likely a contract/insurance issue with the Crazy Horse entity. This is not complicated. The band couldn't play so they cancelled. Neil found other things to do. The Cap shows were sort of last minute.

I swore no more posters, but I need to somehow combine this with the Toronto poster with all the sharks on it in some sort of menacing scene.

That is a crazy price for shipping, but isn't $110 shipped for a signed AP about the norm? I have never bought one so I don't know, it just seems most APs are around $100.
