Transaction Declined based on payment settings

Is anyone else getting this error?

All my info is accurate on the 10C site and the TM site.

In fact, I made a purchase through the 10C this morning (a couple of stickers) and bought tickets through TM last week. So independently, they are working for me.

I cannot figure out why i cannot put in for a couple of shows in September. 

Am i getting declined because i had put in for those shows in 2020 and now am ineligible to try again? I didnt get selected i 2020 so i dont have tickets for those shows. 

I didnt read anything like that anywhere, but thats the only thing i can think of. I verified my CC was working and all the info is correct. I even tried a different card. Same result.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Are you putting the card holder name in the info spot instead of the person trying to get the tickets? It has to be the card holders name address etc. The only thing that needs tie to the TM account is the email you can not change. Also make sure that you are logged into TM with the correct account. When I went to put my selection in I had already put my wife's in and she was still logged in. I do not know how far I could of gone with my 10C account and her TM account lined up together but I at least could of made it to the CC screen without going any further. Maybe you get an error at that point if they do not match up.

    Thanks for the advice. However, its my name on the card, the 10C account and the TM account so there shouldnt be any discrepancy there.

    And I exited out of TM and signed back in to make sure it was my account and it was.

    It could be an issue on Ticketmaster - if you can, try another card.

    Retype the CVC manually if you are using auto fill on the payment page...

    Also, maybe your card company put a hold on it for security? Happened to me once. Had to call and get them to lift it.

    It’s a browser issue, I had it too. If you’re on mobile try it on a desktop or laptop. I used the “browser” within Facebook and it went through first try. I had tried multiple cards, safari, chrome etc. All my info was correct. Horribly frustrating glitch, I think that will work for you though. Good luck!

    I tried my phone and two different browsers on a desktop computer and nothing worked.

    I tried to manually re-enter all of the info. Nothing.

    I contacted my CC company to verify it was still good. No issues with the card.


    Then I saw this post about doing it through FB, I figured "why not? may as well try" fully expecting to be turned away again.

    But, low and behold, it did the trick.

    Thank you to everyone that threw out suggestions and offered some advice. This has been frustrating beyond belief for me the past few days and I am grateful to be part of such a helpful and generous community.

    Glad it worked! Most people seem to get past it once they try something besides mobile, i thought the Facebook thing might have been a fluke for me, glad I suggested it. 

    And yeah, I submitted a question to tickets today on Monday and still haven’t heard back so finding an answer in the groups is about the only way you’re gonna get around it. It’s weird, I had no issues in 2020, nor when submitting requests for the Earthlings tour. Hope it’s not something that continues to be an issue.

    I was going to say this as well. Everyone should remember to try different browsers when transactions don't go through. Sometimes is as simple as that. Of course, this doesn't help much when you have seconds to make that purchase before it sells out!

    Apologies if this has been answered, I haven't seen it anywhere....

    I don't have fields to enter credit card information anywhere throughout the 10c ticket process. I picked a show and submitted a request, but nowhere along the way did I have the option to enter credit card information. I have a request summary with a receipt for $0.00 presumably because there was no CC info on my form. Anyone else have this happen?

    Pretty sure I passed the last page of the process. On the final screen which says "Enter Required Cardholder Information Below", there are just no credit card fields. I can submit, and I get a receipt # on a confirmation page, with a message that my request has been submitted. But obviously something's not working correctly... or I just don't understand how it's supposed to work.

    I just sent an email to TM/TicketsToday; guess I'll see what they say.

    I had a similar issue. Removed my request and went to my laptop. Was on a tablet before. Laptop worked great.

    What do you mean using the "browser" within FB? A friend is still having problems and I would like to suggest she try the FB trick, but I don't understand what you mean. Are there links to the registration page on PJ's FB?

    Different browsers/devices don't seem to make any difference. 

    To recap, I'm having a weird issue attempting to enter the Lottery:
    1. There are no Credit Card fields on the last checkout page.
    2. My submitted request says "Not a Request" at the top
    3. My max for all selected shows is $0.00
    It definitely looks like something about my entry is messed up. I've tried e-mailing the support address but haven't heard anything back yet, so I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this.

    I'm set now.

    If anyone else is experiencing the same issue, I needed to delete all local site data (incl cookies) for the 10c ticket site, then go through the flow again. I was eventually prompted enter CC information when I clicked submit. Not sure why I was experiencing the same thing multiple times on different browsers/devices, but that worked for me.

  • Im having the same problems. Could not find the facebook thing and I deleted all local site data (incl. cookies), tried every kind of browser, laptop, desktop, 3 different CC with 2 different holders... Two different Ten Clubs...Im desperate!

    Try clearing your cookies and cache/temp files in your browser, many problems from that

    I had the same issue initially.

    I found waiting 3-4 hours and trying again worked.
    To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

    Ooh...now I'm worried. My 10C email and TM email are different. I was able to go all the way through the request process and got my request confirmation.

  • I GOT IT!! But tried in 4 places. On my 4th computer I could do it. And I cleaned cookies and cache, even downloaded a new firefox… but worked somehow on a new computer.

    I hope I can win something after all this headache!
