PEARL JAM US TOUR TICKET INFORMATION, Sat 1/25/2003 11:02 PM
Body:
Dear Matt,

Your member number is: 248xxx and expires 1/17/03.
US TOUR TICKET INFORMATION

*Here it is! Pearl Jam is on tour in 2003! The US dates are official and the
fan club is offering the opportunity to you, as an active 10c member, to
purchase exclusive tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
Take note, this time around you may purchase 2 TICKETS TO AS MANY SHOWS AS
YOU LIKE! That means, you will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets to each
show, but how many shows you decide to attend is up to you ...

*Please carefully read and follow the specific instructions on how to obtain
your Pearl Jam tickets. Mistakes are avoidable, so please read and re-read
the instructions to prevent any complications with your ticket purchase.

* Ticket prices for the US tour will range from $35 to $38. The unavoidable
fees for facility maintenance, parking, and services are added on to the
base ticket price for each show and are reflected in the tickets totals
listed. PLEASE NOTE, SINGLE TICKETS ARE NOT AN OPTION. Final ticket price is
per pair only.

*Muy Importante! TO ORDER YOUR TICKETS, PLEASE INCLUDE AN INDEX CARD WITH
YOUR FULL NAME, MEMBER NUMBER, SHOW DATE AND CITY, FOR EACH SHOW YOU WISH TO
ATTEND. ON THIS INDEX CARD, PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR
TICKET CONFIRMATION LETTER MAILED TO YOU (INCLUDE MAILING ADDRESS) OR
EMAILED TO YOU (INCLUDE EMAIL ADDRESS). If nothing is specified we will
email your ticket confirmation.

*Please send this information, along with your money order payment, to:

TEN CLUB TICKETS
(insert show date and city)
PO BOX 4570
SEATTLE WA 98104
USA

* Muy Importante! YOU MUST SEND AN INDIVIDUAL PAYMENT AND INDEX CARD FOR
EACH SHOW. YOU MUST WRITE THE SHOW YOU ARE REQUESTING TICKETS FOR ON THE
OUTSIDE OF EACH ENVELOPE. In other words, each ticket payment for every show
you will be attending must be in a separate, individual envelope. If
multiple payments are grouped together in one envelope, you risk not getting
the tickets you requested. However, if you are sending your multiple
payments Priority/Overnight, then you may include all individual envelopes
with your separate payments, in one Priority/Overnight envelope.  (Remember,
FedEx doesn't deliver to PO Boxes).

*Muy Importante! EACH PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AS A U.S. MONEY ORDER ONLY. IF
YOU ARE PURCHASING TICKETS FOR MULTIPLE SHOWS, EACH PAYMENT MUST BE MADE
WITH A SEPERATE MONEY ORDER. No other form of payment will be accepted. If
you send in a check or credit card number, your payment will be returned and
you will lose your chance for tickets. Please make the money order payable
to "Ten Club" and please include your full name, show date and city on each
money order.

*Since you are allowed to attend as many shows as you like, the ticket holds
will be on a "first come, first serve" basis. We are allotted a certain
amount of tickets for fan club members at each venue, so once they are sold
out, that's it! We can guarantee nothing, but we will accommodate you as
best we can. Under the circumstances that the show(s) you wish to attend is
full, we will return your funds.

*Muy Importante! YOUR PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 11TH 2003. IF
YOUR PAYMENT IS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE, WE WILL RETURN YOUR PAYMENT AND NO
TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED. PLEASE NOTE, PAYMENTS MUST BE IN OUR HANDS BY
FEBRUARY 11TH, SO MAKE SURE TO ALLOW FOR DELIVERY TIME.

*Once your payment is processed, we will mail or email a confirmation number
to you. Please indicate which method you would like on the index card
included with your payment. This confirmation letter will be your temporary
ticket and you will need to present it when you pick up your tickets at the
box office. So, don't lose it!

*If you have not received your confirmation number one week before the show
date for which you ordered tickets, please contact tickets@tenclub.net.
Please write "NO CONFIRMATION" in the subject line so we can identify you
properly. Briefly explain your situation in the body of the email and
include your full name and a telephone number where you can be reached.

*Please do not call or email us in an effort to determine whether we have
received your payment. Due to the volume of mail, it will be impossible to
locate your payment. Once your payment is processed, you will receive a
confirmation letter. The fewer questions we receive in regards to your
tickets, the quicker we will process your ticket order. Please trust that we
will take care of you and your tickets.

*Muy Importante! TO RECEIVE YOUR TICKETS, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR
CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND A VALID PHOTO ID TO THE TEN CLUB TICKET WINDOW, AT
THE VENUE BOX OFFICE, ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. NO TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED
WITHOUT THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND VALID ID. No exceptions. Tickets will
not be distributed prior to the show date, to avoid any scalping issues with
fan club tickets.

*Seat selection will be based upon seniority in the club; meaning the longer
you have been in the club, the closer your seats will be to the front of the
stage. The Ten Club reserves the "best seats in the house" for 10c members.
These seats will be on the floor from the front row, extending back. You
will not be notified of your seat selection until the day of the show, when
you receive your tickets.  Please note, seat selection will be effected by
the popularity of the show. Meaning, if you choose to attend a show in a
bigger city, your seat selection may not be as close as expected. But if you
choose a city that is not as popular, your chances for getting seats closer
to the stage are greater.

*The Ten Club ticket window at the venue box office will open at 3pm on the
day of each show, unless otherwise posted. We will post these specific box
office times in the NEWS section of www.tenclub.net. Early arrival to the
box office will not improve the quality of your seats, as seat selection
will be predetermined.  However, please don't wait until show time to pick
up your tickets, as there will be a line and you may miss part of the show.
AND ALSO REMEMBER, THE TEN CLUB TICKET WINDOW WILL CLOSE 15 MINUTES AFTER
PEARL JAM TAKES THE STAGE.

* This document will be posted on our site www.tenclub.net for your
convenience. Questions or concerns regarding your fan club tickets can be
directed to tickets@tenclub.net. Or you may call the Pearl Jam hotline
206/728-7078 for more information.

I was in my early 20's & terrible with my money, but in hindsight... I would still max out my credit cards in a heart beat & go to as many of these shows (and snag a poster) as possible, lol.

Let's see... I would still bang out Tampa & the secret Orlando show on 04/12 & 04/13, then take a weekend to go north to catch, 5/2/03 Buffalo, NY (HSBC Arena) & the legendary 5/3/03 State College, PA show.
Then back up north for a week or so for on 7/8 & 7/9/03 New York, NY (MSG), then go to Cape Cod to relax, and wrap it up with the epic 7/11/03 Mansfield, MA (@ Tweeter Center).
I heard Hershey Park is a garbage venue (07/12), but I've read good things about the Holmdel, NJ show (07/14). At theses prices (in retrospect), might as well add those, too!

Of all my shows and experiences, if I could wish myself to any time or place, it would be Pearl Jam in Holmdel 07/03.

    Even better!

Sometime in the early 2000s we were booked at Coronado Springs and then they closed the resort for renovations.  They moved us to the Beach Club for the same price =)

This was the first tour I traveled to multiple shows while I was in college.  It will always be my favorite tour because of that.  Made some great friends along the way.

I joined 10C specifically for this tour. I was a sophomore in college and hit Cleveland (my first ever PJ show), Pittsburgh, Buffalo and State College
Hell of a run, sir. There's a strong itch for them to return to Cleveland one day...
Thank you. An unforgettable experience, for sure.

I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up Benaroya. If I could go back, I would get in on the pre-sale, buy a 1-way to Seattle, rent from National, and watch history be made (screw the vinyl, lol).
Then drive to Portland for a day, then take my time down the coast to Mountain View for Bridge School Benefit 10/25 & 10/26, and the over to Santa Barbara on 10/28, then SBA to Vegas to Orlando the next day.
    Worth every penny of interest.

Ohio was on their radar for fall 2020. The stop would have been Cleveland or Columbus, but not both.

    Abso-fuckin'-lutely.

It would definitely stop the rush of international fans (and make more tickets available) if people from other continents weren't trying. We know the rumors are loud and clear, but it doesn't stop USA people from trying for Europe or Europeans trying for South America.

The Ten Club reserves the "best seats in the house" for 10c members. These seats will be on the floor from the front row, extending back. You will not be notified of your seat selection until the day of the show, when you receive your tickets. Please note, seat selection will be effected by the popularity of the show. Meaning, if you choose to attend a show in a bigger city, your seat selection may not be as close as expected. But if you choose a city that is not as popular, your chances for getting seats closer to the stage are greater."

Something must have changed, right? I thought it went to block seating...everyone was pre-assigned to a block and the earlier someone picked up their tickets, the better in the block they were.

Correct.  The earlier you arrived, the better your seats were.  Hence, we arrived at Uniondale at 10am.  And Holmdel too.  Also saw both MSG shows and Philly.  They also filled the floor section all the way to the back first before they moved to the wings.  So there were a lot of people pissed off that they were at the back of the floor while people with worse fan club numbers were a couple rows off the stage on the sides.

Sucks that Cleveland became such a forgotten about stop for the band.

I met a guy at FF show last night with a stickman tattoo on his arm and he said

“PJ used to be my favorite band, but they haven’t been here since 2010.  And that’s fine, but if you’re gonna get inducted into the Rock Hall and you still forget about Cleveland, then f*** you”

Paid $300 for a ticket 2nd row balcony dead center - worth every penny. Walked up to the venue just as most of the band drive in with their personal vehicles. Had a random unique moment well after the show with Matt behind the wheel of his vehicle. And hit up some tasty sashimi at a local spot found randomly. Worth every penny.

I’m bummed they moved the RnR hall of fame show back to Cleveland.  I had a blast seeing PJ inducted in Brooklyn and would love to go again. It was a pretty cool experience.

Do they!!! I had no idea.  I thought it was moved back there permanently.  Eager to see it if it comes back to the east coast.  =)

What a great memory. I was a senior in college and this was the first time I caught multiple shows in a tour. Hit up Albany, Montreal, and Mansfield I. A kind fan offered me his extra to Mansfield III but I turned it down due to being broke as hell. Oops. There was such an air of unpredictability with them really mixing up the set lists and regularly defying venue curfews. Take me back please.
