    a zippo uses lighter fluid not butane.  if the couple you have are new zippos they do not come loaded with lighter fluid.

    you used that in a traditonal zippo?  dont see how its possible. your example specifically leaves out the zippos we are discussing. that is not for a traditional windproof zippo.

    Most people probably don't use them. But I do. But I bought a zippo cigar torch that fits inside perfectly. Works better, and lasts much longer, wouldn't have to worry about excess fluid.
    But the fluid dries out pretty quickly even when not used, so I doubt you have to worry about it.

    it really does...it's like you have to make sure you load it every time you use unless you are using it several times a day.
