Congrats. As someone that also loves the “finds” I salute you.

why in god's name would matt's son sell that, and so below market value? i guess maybe it's the same as me having a signed cassette of my mom's barbershop quartet. but still.

I don't want to spoil the story, I hope you guys enjoy. I'm ELATED.
Awesome story and score! Congrats!
I saw one comment on the video asking for suggestions on how to display it.. I think you should have your framer build a shadowbox with UV glass, maybe 2" deep (interior), and acrylic/wooden supports built into the floor, to rest the box on. Add some LED's to the top inside edge if you're feeling adventurous!
Maybe also a lock to the door, and internal screws behind the record to secure it to the wall.

I watched the whole video hoping to get an answer to this question.

I love the MF DOOM and Final Fantasy stuff you got there, too.
Thank you! My favorite things are Music (Pearl Jam, The National, Kanye West are at the top of the list), RPGs (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, etc.), Star Wars, and Hip hop in general.
I had one believe it or not! It was also a single digit. I got it professionally framed. Framer made it where you could also view the back of the album. Unfortunately I had to sell it. I’m a stagehand & work goes by seniority. At the time there wasn’t much work & I had to do what I had to do (kids). I met the person I sold it to in person, he only lived in the next town. It was about a 40 minute drive. It couldn’t have gone to a better person. I still keep in touch with him. He’s on here a lot, maybe he’ll send ya a picture of how it’s framed. Wish I still had that! It’s so special! Currently I’m only missing two PJ records & that’s one of them.

This is brilliant!!!
I expect to see photos when it's built!!
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of securing it to the wall thru the backing (easier, too) and having a locking mechanism.
You gotta protect that puppy (hence the UV glass, too)!
Epic score! Great YouTube series also I’ve gone down a worm hole watching your episodes... makes me miss Amoeba greatly.
