    Idk
38pts/ 10 reb and making plays not another human on earth can sure sounds dominate to me. Plus you can see he’s cerebral and mature beyond his years.

Beat Suns on their home court 2 games  in a row…. Gonna have ups and downs as rookies do, but cmon this guy is gonna be something

I bought good seats before season started @ Barclays , day before super bowl in ‘24 to see how 7-4” can play like he’s 6-2” and pretty much position less basketball …. Spurs really gotta thank their lucky stars a few of these blue chips fell their way over the last few decades , it’s bonkers actually

couple of alley oops are just teammates throwing it up 15 ft and him  just guiding it in the hoop, indefensible …. Spurs have some PCs around him, they will add vets and picks next few years…can totally see them knocking on the door his Year 3 fooo shooo

The kid is the next great thing in the NBA. Everyone (except Tempo, LOL) can see that.

Yeah yeah yeah, pile it on.

I wonder if his arrival will make big men actually play defense now?  You can't have him just "alley ooping" balls in like Crojam said.  I still don't think inside game is coming back if the other team can just shoot 3's.  I like a nice post up move but I don't know.

I said he'd be good. not great Poncier...

Big men don't play defense? Have you watched any of the reigning MVP's career?

Seriously?  Embiid, yeas, Jokic tries, Giannis yes.

As far as NBA all defencse hasn't Gobert been the only repeat 1st team in the last 10 years?

Maybe I took your post too literally. But yeah there's definitely big men who play defense. There's just less big men as there used to be.

I wonder where Wemby's performance last night ranks for rookies in only their first few games of their careers? Gotta be up there with one of the best I would assume.

I think Iverson has to be in that convo.  Hell the coach made plays to make sure he got 40, lol.  5 games in a row.

Edit: I also complained that centers arent really centers anymore.  Playing D would fit that bill also.  I miss the two way player.  Lockdown on D and drive the lane.

Oh no. Not the "centers" convo again. Just make the thread "What's a center?"

Yeah good call. 38 and 10 with a +21 seems to be above AI's best in first 5 games though.

He’s also in top 5 of 4th quarter scorers so far….

This year for him is, to get used to playing 80 games, being a pro, building chemistry, staying healthy, conditioning… that’s all Spurs want

Pts, games won is nice…. But there is a big picture here… hard for some to see

    its like

lemme buy Microsoft when it peaks 🤣🤣

    the shoe don’t fit

if he were in NY/LA/CHI they might rename the league after him 🤣

he’s blocking shots all over the place, that reverse layup he did last night was filthyyy

    hitting 3s

jumped outside paint, around to other side of the rim and layed it in with touch

he can play pg at times too….

This in-season tournament thing is weird. What's the actual point of it (besides money)?

Can’t believe Wilt only played 39m that 5th game.
