shows you how dead the NBA is that this mega trade and the DeAaron Fox trade is drawing crickets. No one except the Philly guys give a shit.
The NBA isn't dead but they do a lot of stupid things. Like having the trade deadline occur during Super Bowl week.

maybe the NFL is having the Super Bowl during trade deadline week.

Luka trade thoughts.  Dallas is a well run organization.  Why did they dump him?  Don't want to pay him?  Is he lazy?

I am confused about this.  AD was the only person whom actually played D on the Lakers besides Reeves and Reeves is average at best, Lebron doesn't make much of an effort anymore which is a shame.

Also how is Lebron going to mesh with him?  Lebron needs to facilitate and utilize luka and they will have some spark.  Get some more movement from the team.  They have 3 guys in the wings every play.

Fox to Spurs is a GREAT move.

sad what LeBron and his generation have done to the NBA and it's all-star game.  Between load management, flopping, forcing teams to trade them, and making the all-star game and its weekend a complete farce they are really ruining the NBA.  LeBron pulling out of the all star game a few hours before the game so no one could replace him then turning up for the photo without an all-star jersey on was pathetic.  an unlikeable super star at times.  Don't want to hear people ever say he is better than Jordan.

What's funny to me is seeing the people long for the days of the early 2000's or something. It sucked back then too. I feel like there have been all star game complaints going back to the 90's.

even MLB is kind of flawed….after the third inning, it’s mostly marginal guys getting one AB.

The complaints back in the 2000's was that the game turned too ghetto after MJ retired. The complaints about the NBA in general during the 90's was not enough offense and too many scores in the 80's.

People have been complaining forever. Having said that, I did not watch one second of any of it this weekend.

I saw a clip of the skills comp where Chris Paul? Was just chucking the ball instead of shooting it to speed up and win.

    Anyone else see this?

Yeah, this isn't an injury, its a blood clot. Not the thing one should be crowing about to justify his poor take.

I already admitted I was wrong but keep dragging that out there ponce.

So i know hes good but why is the team so bad?

I'm not following the team enough to see why.  I did like the addition of Fox but that's all moot now for this season.

Usually when the greats come in they are in the playoffs either that year or the 2nd.

You're the one who brought it back up with the "Aaaand it begins" post. Came across as a victory lap on a take that Wemby would be injury prone.

Nope.  Thats for injuries.  I said and recanted that he wouldn't be good.  Not sure why we are revisiting this?  Comment is for injuries.  Will he continue to have issues?  Dont know.

Big Perk called Lebron Luka and Reeves a "big 3".  I love the Lakers but I think thats a stretch. Reeves does play great w Lebron.  Not sure what he'd do on another team.

Luka triple doubles his old team.

Go lakers, u non playing D mofos.
