I was really hoping Eddie would play the festival this year.  It seems like a perfect fit for him......a music festival run by Danny Clinch, with pro surfers involved, on the beach in Springsteen's old stomping ground, and raising awareness for environmental issues.  Maybe since it's only a week before Ohana and on the other coast, its too much for him but it seems like this would be right up his alley.  Oh well, at least I'll be able to catch Mike at the Stone Pony.

I think you hit it regarding the timing of the two festivals.  I only live ten minutes away and will be there at the Stone Pony.  The idea of seeing Ed there for the festival someday would be cool.  They did manage to snag DMB which is a pretty good get for the second year of the festival.

Doors open so late because the show is after the festival ends. 
Looking forward to seeing Mike and who knows who the many others are....

That’s the view south towards convention hall.  I spent many years on that beach as a kid when the 7th Pool Pavilion was still up and running.
