Let’s take this to another level and all just make a repository of our iPod contents. Haha!

But I have so little ’90s music in my iPod.

If we did a 1965-1975 best albums, it would be game over. Also a lot of early aughts stuff.

A word about Dave Matthews Band - I respect them, but besides sharing the same birthday as Dave, I’m essentially uninterested in their music. “Crash.. Into Me” still kills, however.

I've never liked DMB.  I know they have a loyal following but I just don't get it.

Yeah they’re not one of my favorite bands but I thought Crash would have made someone’s top 10. It was a great album of the 90’s.

    no order top 10:

    Parklife
    Enter the 36 Chambers
    Ok Computer
    Endtroducing
    In Utero
    Slanted and Enchanted
    Siamese Dream
    Post
    Exile in Guyville
    Loveless

I mean, theres at least another 25 albums I could put here. After the 60s and maybe the 70s (but probably not), the 90s were the best decade for music. Yes some garbage music got a lot more exposure, but that was because of the mediums of broadcast and the peak monetization of said exposure. Maybe it was the case for all the decades, but the 90s really pushed things forward. Probably in a greater capacity than the previous 20 years of music.

shit. I can't believe I forgot Loveless.  damn

Has anyone listed a country artist yet? I don't really like that genre anymore, but I figured someone would have mentioned Garth, Shania, Tim McGraw, Reba or The Dixie Chicks by now. I grew up on oldies and country until about 1991 and then everything changed when I finally was exposed to rock music.

Same here, I think DMB is terrible. And I did have the misfortune to see them live - most annoying concert I've ever been to, just because of the music, lol.

They fall into the same category as, say, Jack Johnson to me. Boring background noise made for yuppie get-togethers. Not exactly the blandest offender, but bland enough with little exception imo.

I think Jack Johnson has some real charm. DMB completely lacks that.
