Wow, you people near Boston and Chicago who've had to wait a whole two years to see the band...

...will finally get another chance! Can you believe it, after all this time, the boys are coming back!
Meanwhile, those of us in the S.F. Bay Area who can't afford in time or money to travel to another state to see the band, and haven't seen them in five years (and counting) will just look at the setlist in envy yet again. Sure glad I'm paying to be in the 10 club so I can buy good seats when they come back here in 2024!

Hope you get front row.

I wish you the best in 2024. In the meantime, I can consider moving to Mississippi if that will make you feel any better. Seriously though, start saving and planning for a trip somewhere next spring to see them."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

I've only had 2 hometown shows out of the 103 I've seen. I don't know what it would be like seeing the band in your hometown or region a lot. I probably would be bored of seeing them only in one location.0

They've played 3 shows in Chicago in the last 8 years. It's not exactly a residency.Post edited by RP112579 on6/29/98 Chicago-United Center

I think were immune from having done so much travelling. If you're from Vancouver Island you love concerts you grow to love road trips. It's 4 hours for driving, waiting, ferry, driving to Vancouver. 5 hours to Seattle. 8 hours to the Gorge. You get used it to itoftenreading said:They last played in my town in 1991, and they're never going to play here again. Can't really feel your pain.

Been to 18 shows, traveled over 200 miles for all but one. The days of the band making 70+ towns per tour are over, OP.

We're pretty darn fortunate they are still a band, still touring, and still kicking ass while doing it.0

Is this a complaint ??? At PJ 20 I met people from all over the world !! A person flew from New Zealand for 2 shows ... Not sure what this is all about ... But ok .. See you at the show... Or one less person to compete with I guess ...0
