    What part of the South End?  Most of the South End is great... some of the best food in the city (and some parts walkable to Fenway).  But there are a few specific areas I wouldn't recommend to tourists.  Nothing all that terrible, but not where you probably want to spend your vacation.

    Southie’s fine. Have friends that live there and I’ve been going out there for years, can’t say I’ve ever had a problem. Parking sucks beyond belief but you could say that about any part of Boston. The whole gentrification thing kinda blows but many of the lifers are still hanging on. As long as you don’t mind dodging drunk Irish bros with your car, not a bad place to stay.

    Tremont & Dartmouth is good!  You can walk to Fenway too (prob 15 minutes).  Tons of good food over there too... try Picco, Blackbird Donuts, The Gallows, and Coppa!  Let me know if you need other tips ( I work in the area and live not too far away).

    I work on Dartmouth (between Columbus and Stuart).

    The Beehive is nice, too. Addis Red Sea for dinner.

    As far as the lotto goes, would you think Fenway night 1 is gonna be tougher then Fenway night 2?

    My guess would be yes.

    I think with Fenway-1 being on a Sunday is the reason. I know if i only make one show, Fenway-1 is the one i want to attend.

    There are some nice apartments on airbnb for under $300/night right near Fenway.  I just found a 1BR for $190/night.  And some other bigger ones (one I was looking at was $360, but it had 4 beds).  3 blocks from Fenway. Hotels aren't the only option

    Yes. Sunday night of Labor Day Weekend vs Tuesday night with kids going back to school. I think Night 1 is going to be a very tough ticket.

    On the fence about this. Cheap flight. But crazy expensive lodging. I'd be going solo. But have a good member #, so tickets would be decent seats. And i told myself no pj until there's new music. Decisions decisions
