I never get tired of these lists.
    I went with 14 because:

     10 + or + 11 = 10 + 2 (the letter r represents the number 2) + 1 + 1 = 14

In alpha order (list subject ot change of mood):

    The Beach Boys
    Dinosaur Jr
    The Doors
    The Jimi Hendrix Experience
    Minutemen
    Mission of Burma
    The Ramones
    R.E.M.
    The Replacements
    The Rolling Stones
    Jethro Tull
    The Velvet Underground
    The Who
    Neil Young and Crazy Horse

  • Hmmn...I don't know that I would have that many.  Let's see.

    1. Pearl Jam
    2. U2
    3. Neil Finn/Crowded House
    4. QOTSA
    5. NIN
    6. Led Zeppelin
    7. Nick Cave & Bad Seeds
    8. The National

That's about it.  I like a lot of music but wouldn't describe them as favorites (or favorites anymore).

This list would be different if it was just performing artist for me, but if we're going with bands, then this as of now, but I could rotate a few out occasionally. These are all my rock choices too, which is my default.

Pearl Jam (A given so it doesn't count)
    Metallica
    Tool
    RATM
    The Beatles
    Led Zeppelin
    Soundgarden
    NIN
    Jimi Hendrix
    QOTSA
    Deftones

    It's a hopeless situation...
