Halloween Costumes 2015

Since Halloween in on a Saturday I assume there will be lots of peeps hitting up parties. What are your plans and costume ideas?

I'm going to a party at a Vets club Friday and on Halloween my friend totally decks out her yard and we scare the bejesus out of the kids by jumping out from bushes and behind trees. Ghouls, werewolves, zombies..it gets crazy. Plus she as 2 coffins that her and her hubby jump out of too. It's pretty amazing. My job will be the younger kids b/c sometimes they get too scared to come up the walkway.
Since I'm always cold I opted for a warm costume...The Bunny Suit from A Christmas Story hence the little kid duty ...lol
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

^^^ This reminds me of when I was kid and a family in our neighborhood owned a funeral home. They lived on a cul de sac and at Halloween they would close it off and have several coffins displayed with monsters, witches, other scary creatures in them. As you walked around, when you got to the last one our neighbor would be lying in it dressed up as a vampire. He would wait until a group of kids had gathered around, then jump up and grab someone. :fearful: We loved it.

They rest of the year they were a pretty ordinary family. I used to babysit their kids when I was a teenager.

I think I want to make a South Park character "costume", but I think it's gonna be cutout paper, on a stick, and only about 18 inches tall haha

Several years ago someone loaned me a princess costume for a Halloween party. At any other party, I'd have had the best costume but there were several drag queens at this one. No way could I compete.

I think if I dressed up this year, I'd go as Billy Gibbons.

My daughter wants to be a fairy princess when she grows up. I have yet to tell her that that's not a thing.

  • At the grocery store this morning most of the employees were in costume. I wish I'd taken a picture of woman who was dressed as Frida Kahlo. Her clothes and hair were perfect and she'd drawn herself a unibrow.

Soldier in suicide bomber Halloween costume triggers emergency at Fort Bragg
    wncn.com/2015/10/31/solider-in-suicide-bomber-halloween-costume-triggers-emergency-at-fort-bragg/

FORT BRAGG, NC (WNCN) — A soldier who was dressed for Halloween as a suicide bomber — complete with a simulated explosive vest — triggered an “emergency response” at Fort Bragg on Friday night, officials say.

Authorities at the base said that on Friday night a soldier attempted to “gain access to Fort Bragg through one of our access control points.”

“The Soldier was dressed as a suicide bomber with simulated explosive vest,” officials from the base said on Saturday in a written account of the incident.

“The incident resulted in an emergency response, Explosive Ordnance Disposal clearing the entire scene and an extended closure of a gate,” Fort Bragg officials say.

“Although the incident remains under investigation, initial reports indicate it was a Halloween costume,” officials added.

Officials reminded soldiers after the incident that such costumes are banned.

“The Fort Bragg Garrison Commander wants the community to have a safe and fun Halloween; however, costumes of this sort are not allowed on Fort Bragg,” officials said.

“All costumes should be appropriate in dress and tasteful. The Senior Commander of Fort Bragg further directs that Soldiers not wear costumes of this sort off post and strongly encourages Soldiers, DA Civilians, and Family members to follow the same guidance to prevent similar issues within our neighboring communities,” officials said.
