Global Citizen's Festival VIP 2 Questions

Forgive me if these are redundant or obvious...

Is the entrance at 72nd or 81st street on Central Park West? I have heard both.
Backpacks allowed?
Amenities there? I heard food and drink, no alcohol - and bathrooms (I assume)?
The consensus is Pearl Jam on around 8:30 - 9, off at 10? I will be surprised if Beyonce closes but I suppose you never know.
For those getting tickets from Ticketmaster, we can print on Sep 23 and bring to the show - do we need to show ID? If I end up not being able to go, can I give someone else the tickets?

You can bring in a book bag, they will search it. They will not serve alcohol and they have porta pots. Bring extra tp (they ran out last year) Beyoncé and Jay-Z headline last year. Jay-Z played last and he played 12 songs. There is a lot of down time, people come out a talk a lot. Enjoy yourself and just bring your printed out ticket.
I shit and I stink, I'm real, join the club.
  • Thanks for the feedback. I am torn, I really want to go to the show but to get up there from where I live will be a pain and it's likely we won't be able to make it until 5 or 6. As much as I like pearl jam it's a lot of time and money for a shorter set. Guess I need to decide soon.

How much of a pain is it? It's Pearl Jam, and you already have a ticket. I think you will regret not going.
  • I agree and think it's worth it to see Pearl Jam. However, if you end up deciding not to go, I'm in NYC and would LOVE your tickets.

    Have a great time!

    Gonna be chilly Saturday night

    Fall weather rocks

I remember when Neil & Black keys were there few years back..... Got nippy

    No booze

    Better twist some up
  • A couple of more questions, if you have a VIP ticket, how early should you arrive? It is GA standing only within each section. Since this is my first PJ concert and I am coming from Atlanta, I really want to be able to see as best as possible from the section I am in. Somebody just tell me.

What about coming and going to the food areas, restrooms etc? Should you bring something to sit on, blanket, etc?

    Really, NO alcohol at all?

I hear you bud. I have tix to Colbert but skipping it. If there was any other show in the lower 48 I d be skipping global citizens. I m not even expecting two hours....lot of hassle for little reward.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Skipping it? What are you doing with your tickets? I can't believe I didn't score tickets to GC or Colbert and I'm just a short train ride away! Still holding out hope for GC because I never heard about round 5, emailed them and haven't heard back yet. Say a little PJ prayer for me. ;)
  • What kind of concert doesn't have beer? That's lame. I want a refund.
"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.
  • Please forward your tickets and I'll cover the refund...guessing it was rhetorical.
