There's less storage in my new kitchen. I wonder if I should just get rid of more stuff?

Definitely downsize!! I finally did this. Sometimes it's really hard.. Sentiments and all. But what I have learned over the last year is that we can honestly survive in so much less!! AND.. It's a stress relief! I look at my tiny corner of stuff that's left of what I own in this world... And I think back to my college days when I couldn't afford either dormitory dues, or an apartment, so I lived in my car. ( til my Agg prof found out and struck up a deal with me to keep my
Horses there, and I got a room). But the fact is I lived in a 250 sq space.... For YEARS.. And I was so much happier then. I say downsize.. Thanks for letting me ramble... And enjoy this new chapter in your life!

I have to go to work today...and I dont't feel like it.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Forgot to buy half and half at the store so I had to use milk in my coffee.

I have alcohol but can't open it. My son misplaced the bottle opener.

We have 1 tote dedicated to each kid. That's all they get. A few baby outfits, the newspaper on the day they were born, a special stuffed animal and a few other things. It has to fit in the tote.

I have the stuffed animal my grandmother bought in the hospital when I was born. Still, to this day. It's on a shelf on my bookcase. I always had a lot of stuffed animals cuz I'm a sucker for a claw game - the rule I adopted as an "adult" is it only stays if i can remember its name and its significance. But that first one, from my grandmother - I'll be happy if they bury me with it.
I had a whole zoo of stuffed animals, yes, I could name every one of them. I boxed them up to take with me and my parent took it to the donation center...on purpose. All the ones I had since I was a baby. I'm still pissed about the fact somebody else is hugging Sugarput.
I hear ya. I went away for a summer one year when i was 19 and my mom gave away my one and only childhood teddy bear that I'd had since I was 4 years old (and it wasn't even gross - he was in good shape). It was the kind of thing a person would keep for life or pass to their own child. I'm still pissed off.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

Laying on my bed in my boxers with the AC on and it's a little too cool, but I don't want to move. Might catch a cold.

Our AC is broken in the main house. Quel drag. Thank goodness I can work in the guest house.

(Disclosure - we have a dinky guest house with a desk for me to write and a crappy in the wall air conditioner that's so loud you have to turn it off to talk on the phone.)

    Two things -

    1) I swear I saw a photo of Justin Beiber wearing very similar pants. It looked like he took a dump in them while going about his day, and frankly it pissed me off because I don't need to know about his wardrobe. Or him.

    2) Watching this clip without sound is fucking hilarious.

My cat Pennie is laying on my side of the bed, so I have to lay on the other side which is too close to the AC and my legs are getting cold.
