They were actually able to run the ball!  Offense still looks out of sync but this was much better than the first 3 weeks.  Panthers and Jags the next 2 weeks are both very winnable.

Beat up a shitty team.  That was Caleb's best game so far.  Take care of the Jags like they should and go into the bye 4-2.

Tyrique Stevenson should have been cut 10 minutes after the game ended.

F that guy!  Even outside of the last play, him poking at someone's face and getting a 15 yard penalty before that....or him getting absolutely burned for a 50 yard play before that.
I mean, the guy has shown some great talent since we've got him, but he does seem to commit some real boneheaded penalties.

It all comes back to coaching and accountability.  Both of those are severely lacking.

That was bad.  Really fucking bad.  I used to give Eberflus the benefit of the doubt because the D has been pretty solid but this guy just isn't a good head coach.  Bears could have done it right and fired him in the offseason to line up Caleb with a new coach but as usual they can't do anything right.  Hopefully this staff doesn't mess him up too much before the inevitably get fired after the season.  Same old shit.

Yep.  I was at the game and left early.  From the 3rd quarter on, I was just looking/waiting for an excuse to leave.  When they got that safety, thousands of Bears fans were pouring out of the stadium, including myself.
That was one of, if not the worst coached football teams I have ever seen.  Mind you this is the second week of being completely out-coached.  The Bears aren't the team to fire a coach mid-season, but I wouldn't mind if they did.
As you said, Williams is either going to get severely injured, or he's going to go have PTSD.  If things stay consistent, I think he's going to have over 60 sacks this year.  He needs to be better, but he also needs some fn help!  1 target to Kmet in two games....insane!  Not running the ball consistently...dumb.  The pass plays they call are garbage.  Give the fn guy some short/quick slants.  By the time he goes through his progressions of guys being completely covered, he doesn't even have time to check it down before he's running for his life of getting planted into the grass.
Fn Bears!  Same shit, different year.

What a disaster.  Go on the road and it's essentially a home game with all the Bears fans there and take a complete shit on the field.  The offense is broken.  Waldron stinks.  But they weren't going to get anyone big time with Eberflus clearly in a win or get fired year.  And like Speedy just said, the schedule is absolutely brutal after the Patriots this week.  This might get ugly.

I expect it to get much more ugly. People's hopes got up based on some wins on a last place teams schedule. Throw in the Commanders game and that hurts...but the true test is how they follow that up. And the follow up was a disaster. Look for the wheels to come completely off in a hurry. The only saving grace might be the fortunate timing of the Patriots game.

It's going to get really ugly!  Oline is dropping like flies.  I think we might have one starter (Jenkins) starting on Sunday and he has a bad knee.  How in god's name is Williams expected to develop?  Scratch that...how is he supposed to survive the rest of the year?  I'm seriously at the point where I'm going to just say it.  Let the kid play against the Pats, but if he's getting hit the following week against the Packers, it might be bests to pull him out.  After the Pats we might very well lose the rest of the season.  Kinda makes sense why they wouldn't fire any coaches at this point.  Let Flus and Waldron go down with the ship.  Caleb's development is more important than wins at this point.

LOL.  They may have to finally change and actually fire a head coach during the season.  This team has completely quit on this staff.

Typical half measure by the Bears.  Too dumb and too cheap to fire a head coach during the season.

Yup!  And it sounds like Flus still wanted to keep him.  Ugh!

You see the replacement was a guy who was fired last year from the Panthers for his inability to develop #1 overall pick Bryce Young. That's just Chicago Bears asf!

Saw a few articles that said leaks are out on platers wanting Bagent to be in and #1 draft pick to get benched.

Also just saw two articles this morning that said sources now points to Bagents dad running a guerilla campaign to get his kid starts and that the team is not turning on Williams.

Gotta love the so called sports media these days.

(Also, as an unapologetic Williams fan I hope the team worries more about blocking than a bum backup.  Although, maybe it is safer for Williams not to get flushed from pocket in 2 seconds most plays, lol.)

Hope you all beat GB.  I hate GB.
