What's Next - After 2014 US Tour

I have heard thru numerous friends and individuals that are close to the band that we might not see Pearl Jam for a long while after this 2014 US tour. Numerous band members want a long extended breaks with family and there is no willingness to go back into the studio and record anytime soon. I hate to say it but DENVER might be the last of Pearl Jam "LIVE" for many years to come. I will attend Lincoln NE and "SHOW #50" in Denver CO both GA floor this tour and can't wait. I expect epic shows both nights.

I hope it's not true. I have TM tickets for Denver and just recently joined 10c. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get 10c next time. I just hope that next time isn't too long from now :(.

I think these same rumors have been going on after every tour for the last decade. There will be a few shows in 2015, maybe not very many, but a handful at least. As for the studio, I expect a break similar to the last one between albums.

I don't know op. They seem to be at the top of their live game right now and riding a wave of popularity. It's pretty evident that they are really enjoying playing live and seem to like a little more attention than in past years. I predict a spring/summer us run then South American in the fall.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

I'm hoping Europe again next summer - those shows were great, and while I loved the US gigs I did last year, the energy levels just don't compare.
My dream would be Australia in February so I could go see them there. Or Hawaii.

The band needs to go away for awhile. Stop these half cooked tours of 12 shows a piece every year. Take a break til 2016 when they will be up for the RNR hall of fame and come back with a PROPER tour of the states, 30-40 shows, then do the rest of the world.

Maybe a few Canadian dates (toronto, montreal, etc) and a few festivals would be my guess. Between 2013/2014 they've hit almost every major area in the US except Florida and the far northeast like Maine. I'm hoping for another Cleveland date someday but realize that probably isnt coming until 2016 at the earliest.
