Mike's Guitar sound in Light Years

Hiya folks; just wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to the effect Mike uses in his solo(-y) bit on Light Years?

It sounds almost like a mellotron or something. Its a lovely sound I'd like to recreate if I can. Thoughts?

Sounds like some fuzz and a vibe or phaser. Like something similar to what he used on NAIS.

He's got a Rotosphere and Univibe (depending on his preference). You can get the sound with an overdrive a BBE Soul vibe or ramped up chorus. Also check out the MXR Phase 90.
