Neil's Cellar Door vinyl skips?

Got this in the mail tonight, spun it, I noticed some bad skipping on "Old Man," anyone else have issues?

    Wtf? I asked for this for Christmas. I thought NY was the type to be able to control this stuff.

    I've tried doing some research into this. I saw no complaints about it at Steve Hoffman or VC.

    It happens during the chorus. I have a suspicion that its possibly the way its cut. The chorus is pretty loud and I'm wondering if the cut and level cause the needle to bounce. I need to try it on my good table to see if that happens as well.

    The vinyl looks pristine.

    That must be exactly what it is. Just played the track through flawlessly on my good setup. I bet a better cart will play right through that.

    Wish I would have seen this sooner before I posted it over here. I exchanged mine for a new one, and the new one skips through both choruses as well!

    There are also few other skips throughout. So, it looks like I just have to live with the skips unless/until I can afford a new cartridge.
