Sorry, not sure if someone already posted about the meaning of this song.
I checked around the forum, but I couldn't find any info.

Does anybody know the meaning of Sometimes' lyrics?

I keep listening to this (amazing) song over and over again...I like it so much!

I do not think there is "one" meaning. To me this song is one's prayer to him or herself. (If you know what I mean.) About humbleness and the trails of and tribulations of life and seeking the light, strength, God, or whatever within.

Its also about acceptance. Accepting the tribulations, but also your weaknesses and strengthts. Your pitfalls and talents. The acceptance of one's self, so to speak.

But there is something interesting going on here: if you accept yourself in all your colours and complexities, you don't need to pray. You know it is there. So maybe it is not about acceptance, but seeking acceptance from within.

I hope I make sense. It is five in the morning and I can't sleep.
