Who here hit the daily doubler? Soldier Field was my 2nd PJ show and still one of the best days of my life. I was lucky enough to catch both shows in the GA pit up close. Figured I start a thread and see who else on here got to enjoy both of these shows and perhaps share memories/comparisons of each. For me, it was the moon. At Soldier Field it was super full and hung low right above the stands in the back left at opposite end of the stage. Ed made mention of it, and I just remember turning to see it a lot and loving it with the music. Fast forward 18 years and there it was again. However, this time it was floating behind the right field line upper deck. BUT that was until the delay hit. When the party resumed, there it was dead center behind home plate upper deck. Once again Ed makes mention of it, and Unthought Known soared! I couldn't help but turn around a bunch and see it peering through blowing black clouds right there above everyone, super magnificent! Soldier Field was an incredible concert at the peak of their rise, and Wrigley was a great night that capped a special experience.

I was in GA at both. There were other similarities between the two nights. The heat for one. It was equally as hot at the Soldier Field show and I recall them spraying GA down with hoses. When the show started, it was a madhouse. It was all I could do just to stay upright in the sea of humanity. I think we got about 15 feet from the rail Mike side. Wrigley Field...we got rail Stone side.
I appreciated the Wrigley show more...

Yeah, with both being in July, they both were hot as hell. I appreciated the Soldier Field how more. It was a much more all-together 90s mosh pit, so much fun!

PJ Soldier was my first show (without my parents). Still the greatest music experience of my life!!! PJ Wrigley felt equally as amazing, just in different ways. I am personally glad they had the delay, added to the mystique of the night. And what other bands can say they kept Wrigleyville awake until 2am?!?! 8-)
