Bengals would maybe have an argument to say that losing by 3 with several questionable officiating calls (not the last and most important one, the clear late hit on Mahomes), but they are not spouting off. AJ's size will be something the Chiefs will struggle with. I think he can just box out corners and catch a lot of 8-10 yard passes, maybe turn them into larger gains. Probably a decent non QB bet for MVP, though odds are it'll go to Hurts or Mahomes.
How's everyone feel about this game today? I still feel good. The ONLY way I would feel like shit is if they lost by anything more than 7 points.
If they can get up by 10 early then they have to obviously go heavy-run, but at the same time I think they need to treat the run like the pass - e.g. even though you want to milk the clock they shouldn't. They should go hurry-up sometimes when using that run. You're not going to be able to get away eating clock with Mahomes. Absolutely have to keep scoring. I won't feel comfortable unless they're up by 21 entering the 4th.
