Welp if they're not gonna get a push from their d line might as well call this a wrap.

Lol welp that Dallas loss took a lot of the bad taste out of my mouth.

Still think they just roll with Hurts next season, even though this was like the one outcome that would have me question all of that.
  • Hurts' performance was rough and damn that disaster of a "first rounder" needs to be cut yesterday (and that one play - like don't bother covering the Tampa Bay TE, they never throw to that guy) but still excited for the draft and see what we can do next year. Also DALLAS LOST!!! The only home team to lose so far - BWAHAHAHA

What is with you Philly folks and Rocky?
Does showing a clip from a 1976 fictional movie about a Philly boxer really inspire 2022 athletes?

while the game sucked I agree with not playing the starters, especially the offensive line. no need to play those guys.  I thought Dallas was dumb for playing Dak and their starters as long as they did.  What good came of that?

and I know I am going to get killed for this next comment from you guys here but...I didn't like Kelce playing 1 play to keep the streak alive. I think it cheapens the streak. Either play a whole series or not at all.  And yes Kelce deserves all the accolades in the world but to me that 1 play didn't sit right.  so go ahead...

and I hope the Birds don't get the Monday night playoff game. Would suck to have that game.

I understand where you're coming from but a Series may have been 2 more plays? Plus, why risk injury in a glorified exhibiton game?

I don't understand why Dalass played their Starters for that long either. Why risk injury?
it’s called momentum, boys. that said, my cowboys need to convince me, also, that they won’t choke as usual. mike mccarthy doesn’t inspire much confidence.

as far as streaks, they should progress organically. cal ripken’s streak < gehrig’s.
How did the momentum work out for you? Lol
Hopefully McCarthy does not get fired.

I will say, the Cowboys chocking yet another playoff game they were favored in definitely helps to makes up for the Eagles losing a game nobody thought they had a shot at.

  • I think if you gave me the choice of Eagles and Cowboys both win or both lose yesterday - hmmm maybe I choose both lose. So thrilling to see all those sad Texas people, especially the owner. And all the ridiculous fans around the country that have been to Texas like twice or whatever. Sad Sad Sad.

How about Romo? I have always liked him as a commentator but he was blatantly rooting for them last night. Like he was living and dying with every play. Watching them lose in such idiotic fashion just made it that much sweeter.

  • The repeated measuring and the clock shenanigans....he was loving it.
As a Niners fan I hated that, but I get it.  Should have been up by 15 by that point so if they shit it away they would deserve it.

Had I been a fan of any other team I would have rooted against that bs and Romos cheering for it to continue.

I was doing some other things and watching on an iPad so I didn't hear that so much - thankfully.  That "remeasurement" had a vague similarity to the NBA giving the Lakers just enough time to get off a game tying 3-pointer against some "undeserving" franchise like Sacramento or Portland.

Also there were plenty of those BS penalties called against the Eagles yesterday, not that you can blame a blowout loss on that stuff, but it was definitely there. Ridiculous roughing the passer penalty on the first Bucs drive, and failed to call late hit out of bounds on Hurts (borderline, but they call that every time if it's Brady). Bunch of other things too. Sports is so rigged yet we still watch.

And that fake holding on Kelce to wipe out a huge run when it was still a game.
For sure there was some fishy shit this weekend.  Cowboys being a penalty machine was funny.

  • The Kelce "hold" the OPI call - some truly asinine stuff. If the Eagles did manage to do anything decent in the first half you just knew it was getting overturned. That would be why the Bucs are the SB faves.

I thought once again Troy and Buck were good. I don't think you can get on Troy when an ex-Cowboy was just as pissed as us on that roughing the passer. And if anything he was calling out Hurts for completely underperforming and never indentifying that Smith was getting man coverage the entire time and never adjusted for that.

What are we talking about here? But to your larger point, yes, the obsession with Rocky in this area is ridiculous. But also to the point - it isn't Philadelphians taking their picture with that stupid statue.
  • Aikman saying he wanted to be calling the Dallas/SF game instead of the Fox game was kind of funny.  He was all over the dumb officiating and also the play calling.  (

Nantz mentioned on the broadcast that Sirianni showed the team the clip of Rocky getting knocked down but getting back up from the first film for motivation.
