i love watching all the variety of talents...much more entertaining than American Idol.

I actually saw the one guy with the puppets who won 2 years ago when he came here on tour.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Here, I'll just paste what I said in my thread that I created....cause I didn't look to see if there was another topic LOL:

I've never watched the show, but decided to check it out since Howard Stern became a judge. I've been listening to Howard since I was 8 years old and I love him as a radio personality. Say what you will about him, but he's a pioneer and I find him hilarious. As a judge, he's pretty different than what we're used to, but I think he's doing a good job so far. He doesn't have to be over-the-top, he has satellite radio for that, so I'm glad to see a different side. He's a bit of a softy. Between him and Howie, I was cracking up throughout the show. And there's my input :P

    I thought it was good.

Its weird to think about Howard melting the hearts of little old ladies that only know him for being a vulgar sexual deviant.

I agree that the show was good. I just don't understand why the local radio and news networks give howard zero respect. I was listening to a show in hartford today that is almost an exact rip off of his radio show. The "robin" of the group was saying that she liked howard on AGT and the host just bypassed it and wouldn't even acknowledge the story.

Haven't watched the new season, but I always thought some of the performers during the tryout stage were pretty cool. Alot of them that I enjoyed were always pretty fairly pigeonholed as one trick ponies that couldn't carry a full evening performance, but cool none the less.

I made it thru about 5 minutes of this the other night before I changed back to the Sox. And I'm a huge Howard fan.

You know what it is? Stern already has his outlet through his satellite radio show...he can say and do what he wants. He doesn't have to prove himself as a shocker anymore. It's a nice change. But I will say, I prefer the vulgar, sexual deviant side

why do they allow 7 year olds? that's a shitty thing to do to the kid and a shitty thing to do to the judges

Well, the mom obviously thought it would be a good idea, and I'm sure the kid told told her he was all over it... I didn't think it was that bad. Kids are tough. He cried, but everyone was awesome with him. The mom might be one of those stage moms or something, but then again thekid might clamour for an audience. I didn't find myself judging since the kid will be fine - kids can act the same way in the school concert. I don't think he was traumatized or anything, he was stoked to be on stage, and it could have just been a lesson in rejection.

Was hoping Nick was going to kick him with the pointy toe, lets see if he would end up walking after that one. Great talent to show the kids later in life. Wonder if that talent gets passed down to the kids :lol:
