You can never know how good something is until you have a frame of reference for how bad it can be.0

I saw Creed once.. They opened for the Tea Party (best canadian band ever!!) many years ago at Clutch Cargo in Pontiac Michigan..
I wasnt impressed.. and that was even before I (or maybe anyone) knew who they were..
Drink lots of drinks and try to have a good time!!None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

the people watching must be awesome....keep in mind these people paid hard US currency to see this band....you must ask some of them "Why?"...probably the same people who voted for Obama0

I saw Creed in high school (pre 2000 1998? 99?) because it was the only concert my friend's extremely conservative parents would allow her to go to
tells you what sort of crowd you might be in for :-)
You'll have an okay time because you seem to have a good attitude about things. Lemons and lemonade, ya know?
Oh and I think the disownment procedures only occur with those involving Nickleback.*Denver 04-01-2003*ACL 10-04-2009*Colombus 05-06-2010*Noblesville 05-07-2010*Bridge School 10-23 & 10-24-2010*PJ20 09-03 & 09-04-2011*Deluna Fest 09-21-2012*Wrigley Field 07-19-2013*Ok City 11-16-2013*Moline (Rail, Hometown!)10-17-2014*St Paul 10-19-2014*Milwaukee 10-20-2014*Denver 10-22-2014*

saw them at a local annual radio festival back in 98. Feel better bro! Our Lady Peace and Foo Fighters played after, so not all bad. no worries.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

Take some earplugs!
My 15 year old sister wants to see some new boy band called One Direction, so it could be much worse.0 -
I appreciate all of the positive responses, everyone. I will definitely try to make the most of it. Although the last concert I saw at this particular venue was EV and Glen Hansard. But it sounds like the opening band is good, so I have that to look forward to. Having said that, maybe I'll start drinking now ...
A few of my PJ friends have sent me this:

I have never in my life seen a grown man jump up and down like a little girl who just met Justin Bieber. It was amazing and I almost pissed my pants laughing. But hey, whatever makes you happy.
So you've never been to a Pearl Jam show then?0 -
Lifted wrote:i had the same scenario happen with my brother in law once. he took me to see Larry the Cable Guy. nothing could be worse than seeing Larry the Cable Guy. not even creed. and to make matters worse, contrary to your brother in law, my brother in law doesn't drink.
i did not laugh a single time the entire evening...and you can only imagine the type of crowd that an event like that draws.
nothing wrong with taking one for the team. maybe you guys will have a bonding experience.0 -

I'm not proud of this at all but my brother-in-law got tickets and needed someone to go with him. Because it's my wife's brother, it's sort of a free pass for me to go out and get a little hammered in Chi-town without any consequences. Totally worth it, right?
Be sure to tell us how the show was, Judas0 -

The concert wasn't as bad as I thought. The goose island certainly helped. Now of course I have Creed songs stuck in my head. The crowd was interesting, mostly an older crowd (40s or older). For whatever reason, the people weren't too friendly, though. My bro in law summed it up best when he said the trailer parks were empty that night. Hung out at Howl at the Moon afterwards with a lot of bachelorette parties, then had some fantastic pizza from somewhere I don't remember.62698 E Troy, 81800 Indy, 42303 Champagne, 42503 Cleveland, 10204 Toledo, 10304 Grand Rapids, 91105 Kitchener, 51606 Chicago, 51706 Chicago, 62606 St. Paul, 8507 Chicago, 82109 Toronto, 82309 Chicago, 82409 Chicago, 5910 Cleveland, 9311 E Troy, 9411 E Troy, 91111 Toronto, 92112 Pensacola, 71913 Chicago, 101113 Pittsburgh, 101213 Buffalo UPCOMING: Cincy, Lincoln, Detroit, Moline, St Paul, Milwaukee0
