Yes. I go back with THIS President.
Interesting. He could use your help in his re-election bid. What advice, besides running the middle, would you give Obama to help in his re-election?0 -

sweet, I've probably met half a dozen of the Apollo astronauts. We've probably met before. Although I would've pegged you more as Ed Mitchell than Neil Armstrong.Rock me Jesus, roll me Lord...

Al Shepherd's dead.
And in case you're wondering, this one ain't bullshit. I used to have a close relationship with the folks that provided the props for Apollo 13 and the From the Earth to the Moon miniseries.
Apollo 17: Gene Cernan, Ron Evans
Apollo 16: Charlie Duke
Apollo 13: Jim Lovell
Apollo 7: Wally Schirra
(OK, so that was only five... ya got me on that one)
I also attended the 40th anniversary celebration of Apollo 13 last year. And have met Gene Kranz more than once. And I have a piece of Gus Grissom's Liberty Bell 7 capsule sitting on my desk.

The stimulus has proven to create jobs and improve the country's crumbling infrastructure.

Do you honestly not read the way Christians are persecuted on this board by gays and non-believers?
If i used similar rhetoric to describe the gays on here, I'd be banned fatser than Kat can say Yes We Can- same for Muslim rhetoric.
Christians are consistently persecuted here- and peace lovin', tolerance preachin' self-described hippies on this board turn a blind eye. All day everyday.
Stand up for tolerance of all people, PJ fans, or else you're just a damn hypocrite.
I'm callin everyone out.
Wow. That was quite a dramatic, yet comical rant.
Christians get a bad rap because of what some Christians do in the name of Christianity. They are deserving of getting asses put into place when they, for example, try to legislate their beliefs, based upon their religion, into the public domain.
No one... even those whom to claim to persecute you... say you cannot pray or say 'Merry Christmas'. We are saying, you cannot force me to follow your lead in YOUR prayer, nor can you force me to say 'Merry Christmas' to you. you know who is really persecuted? The poor black guy in the inner city that you and people who share your outlook will lump into lazy, welfare riding criminal gang members. Talk to that guy about persecution in America.
...
If you really ARE a Christian... You'd know these words:
“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
...
The Irony I see with persons such as yourself... if you were to meet Jesus... the Liberal, poor people loving, turning the other cheek to terrorists Jesus... you would probably lump him in with me... and all of the other people you despise.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Those poor, inner city welfare recipients could use a good job. Where are the jobs Mr. President?

Calling you a racist? No. a Drama Queen... yeah, you made that obvious... but, a racist? How did you formulate that?
I only know of you from WHAT YOU Post. I am taking it at face value that you are speaking for yourself and are not portraying a character that is the archial-type American Conservative Republican/Tea Party member.
If you ARE simply playing that role... then, the message goes to the character you are representing.

Here is an example of persecution...
I used a law abiding black man who has an education and is looking for a job... and is considered to be just another welfare riding by a fellow American.
THAT... is persecution.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

This discussion has gone far afield from President O'Bama's campaign and re-election strategy so it looks like it's done. Please do not derail topics. Thank you.Falling down,...not staying down0
