So I'm out having drinks after work last night. Joining my friend and me were a couple of colleagues who also work at my new job, but in different areas, so I hadn't met them before. (They were very professional and well dressed. I was wearing jeans and my PJ20 hoodie.)

Margaritas, fairly strong. Quite yummy.

We're sitting at the bar, and we're talking about the company's dress code. The conversation quickly becomes far more fun when we start talking about the worst outfits we'd ever seen at work. Then one of them says something about seeing someone with (she leans forward and whispers) "camel toe."

Everyone starts laughing except me.

They were like, :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I was like, :eh: with a little :-? because, frankly, I have no idea what they're laughing at.

So (and you know you saw this coming) I blurt out, "What's camel toe?"

Well, talk about a buzzkill. They all go... :shock: :shock: :shock: :oops: :oops:

And it might be my imagination, but it seems like right as I said that, there was a synchronized pause in every conversation in the restaurant at that very moment. It was like an echo... "camel toe... camel toe... camel toe..."

And the bartender snorted.

I am fearful that I may not be invited out for drinks again. :lolno:

    See that's the problem. I know I'm cool, you know I'm cool, the people I work with think I'm painfully out of touch and fascinated by that band, what's it called, that sang "Jeremy." (Are they still around?!?)

    I never knew 'Nicholas Cage' and 'awesome movie' could be used in a sentence.
