'No More' on Ninth Studio Album??
According to the Palm Beach Post:
"Pearl Jam encouraged their fans to vote ("Florida has got to vote," Vedder insisted), and the lead singer quietly but powerfully commented on the war in Iraq during the solo acoustic "No More," from the band's upcoming ninth studio album."

Has anyone heard this from any other source or is just another poor attempt at journalism??

It's on Body Of War already, no need to be on a new album I say.
You know what recent song hadn't been released on a formal record, though?

It's already on a soundtrack. . . when is the last time that a song PJ put on a soundtrack ended up on one of their albums? Some of their album tracks have later shown up on soundtracks, but I have never seen them do the reverse. If it was put on "Body of War" first it won't be on a new record. . . that's just lazy. . . that's not PJ.
and isn't that more of an Ed song. . . and not so much a band song?0 -
well that will be my nominated 'skip' song for the album...
just cant get into itStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

whats everyones beef with this song I like it, but it took a while to grow on meOut of the Blue and Into the Black................Uncle Neil Philly 08 here I come!!!!0

Personally, my beef is that it's lame.
Horrendous protest song with lazy lyrics. I feel like the lyrics are all stuff I could just read on MoveOn.org or Media Matters or something.
Just play Masters of War. THAT is pure brilliance.0 -

I say neither. Probably just a mistake, which we all make.
This particular piece is a good piece, and fairly well informed in other places. Don't be a dick.everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do0 -

I agree with you. However, on the Ed tour, when he could get an entire venue doing the "No More" parts ... it was actually a cool little live moment.everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do0 -
No More is a great song. I dont think anybody whos been to Iraq and risked their lives think its some stupid song with cheap lyrics. It means a lot to a lot of people as a message for a war that shouldnt be fought and the pain it causes not some diatribe protest song. To not like it as a song is one thing but there is a lot of heart and passion in it that should not be overlooked. If anything anytime you hear it you should honor and respect those who have to go through hell and back and deal with those consequences for the rest of their lives.0

Im not being a dick, but if your a journalist, you shouldn't just be saying bs stuff. Journalism is all about credibility and when you write a piece you should be careful about your information..thats all...0 -
Cant be true
